2.5in lowered sedan. You'd have measurements for stock yea?

Had the same on my 30 as a previous owner had swapped to manual and left the auto shifter switch tucked under the carpet. Wired the reverse lights into the gearbox and ran the starter circuit wires thru a switch. No crank without pushing said switch.

They ARE different in length. The top mount is the same for sedan and wagon. The wagon has a mount plate that bolts to a structual member under the boot. Said plate has the same style mount as sedand. If i knew what measurements i need id be right into it. Just trying to see what people think would work for a 2.5in lowered sedan.

Cheers Guys. Rear suspension should be ready to pick up tomorrow. Brand new leaves. Reversed eyes. Extra leaf. Half Traction Leaf. Lowered 20mm. Keep in mind I ordered KE30 leaves so that knocks 15mm off the ride height before lowering. As for shocks I'm still working out what i need. Wagons have a shock thats around 1" shorter than sedans. Lowered 35mm. Bringing the need for the shock to be about 60mm shorter than sedans (almost 2.5in). Opinions on what shock to use would be great. I was thinking something along the lines of sierras?

Going by the Kingpin inclination thread on TM. there's only 0.3deg difference in XT130 and KE70 kingpin angles. As far as i know, KE70 and KE55 struts are identical (apart from springs etc)

Great work Matt. The C4's are so compact hey. Can always upgrade to the C6 if the C4 fails.

You can ignore Justine Biebette Can't Ignore Rust. Both of them WILL get worse as time goes. I Still hate Rust!!

Well, the rebuilding begins. Engine crossmember, Lower Control Arms, Swaybar and Radius Rods all in. Just need some KE30 steering arms, so i can fit up some KE55 struts and get the front back on wheels. Power requirements will be left up to the trusty 4k Features 20thou over pistons, Small cam (unsure of the specs) and a 32/36 webber. Only done approx 10,000km since rebuild, I do 30,000km/yr just to work and back, so 10,000km is nothing :P To be backed up by an import K50. Thanks to Jason for supplying the Engine and gearbox. Also thanks to Jasons' dad for transporting the engine.

Thanks Ryan, Deffinatly come a long way. I remember when we put the screwdriver under the window seal and found the biggest rust spot in the car. Now I look at it and couldnt be happier. Cheers Pete, Luc suggested to paint it with the Atomic. At first i was a little unsure. And now when i see it all painted up, I love it. Its Atomic. With a Metric shitload (standardized measurement) of DNA green to gold colour flip. As for what's next, refer to my next post.

Yep, sure is. Just added a SHITLOAD of DNA green to gold pearls. Really funks with your eyes in direct sunlight.

Would want some beefy modification, seeing as the gutter is the seam where the roof meets the sides of the car.

Clear Over Base method. 2k primer. Basecoat colour 1k and DNA 2k diamond clear. I wanna say BIG THANKYOU to Luc (greenmac) for painting the old bitch. and all the work he's put in to get it to this point.

They sure did! Luc's happy that its all over, he did bulk (99%) of the finishing work on them. BIG credit to him :D Got 2 doors and a bonnet left to 800 wet rub. Really shoulda knocked off the 2 remaining doors tonight but family called :/

I was sitting 3 cars back from said 30 2dr. Guy that went to my high school owns it. It was the green 5k powered one KJ used to own. From there it went to red_rocket and was re-painted white. Was only just recently painted as I used to see it getting around in it's white guise. Exchanged waves with a dude in an xt130 wagon in Murray bridge today. Also have a feelin I heard then seen philbey's red rocket tonight on lonsdale hwy.

In the arse maybe? :D
