Yeah has anyone got any tips on when to get the cheapest fuel? Up my way (sunny coast) wednesday or thursday morning is usually the cheapest. I havent paid more than 1.30 for ultimate ever i don't think.

Yeah i don't think there is anyway of using special licenses but i have only had my license for about 6 months and ive already been caught speeding but it was at night i was the only car on the road lol (apart from the cop car a long way back with its dodgy headlight.) I got booked for 110 in an 80 zone when i was doing at least 30 more than that but i have felt unsafer driving through peak hour traffic in the city doing 50 k's an hour. Speed cameras to me seem to be awfully pointless in keeping the road toll down but i guess they bring in plenty of revenue for the government so they aren't going anywhere soon. Anyway my 2c worth

Easily? No But if there is a will there is a way. The problem is that the ke70 is a coil sprung 5 link setup and the ke20 is leaf sprung live axle so its not as easy as welding on the leaf spring mounts.

Well just got a quote from the panelbeaters for the police and it turned out being 450 bucks of damage. I'd fix it myself unless they catch the f@$kwit responsible. I know who did it but i don't have proof so i think it might be time for a castration but the cops took some photos today so hopefully it will work out. It really makes me wonder why i bothered saving up for a paintjob when its just going to get f@$ked anyway.

After a 9 hour shift at work i walk out to find my car has been scratched by some f@$kwit and three tyres were deflated and my petrol cap was gone. :D The whole side is probably going to have to be repainted as they are quite deep some went through to the metal.

What uni? I'm doing engineering at uq this year but aren't so sure what I'm going to major in. Haha my books are only like 800 or so.

Well just get a file and make the bolt holes bigger so it doesn't rub. There is room for adjustment in the radiator shroud.

Bonnet pins can be picked up from most auto parts stores like autobarn , auto one etc. Also revolution racegear has a nice rangeof them

Mate hot it up they aren't worth much from a collectors point of view. The 5k motor is an awesome upgrade. It uses the same engine mounts and is a 1.5 instead of the 4k-c's 1.3

To me the twin headlights are too big for such a small car but with smaller centre lights it would look wicked.

Awesome day. The only problem we had was when the radiator boiled but being a k motor all we did was wire up the thermo fan and she cooled right down. Paul's ke70 was awesome. One run i saw he drove it with full oppy lock round the whole course. I'll definently be back for more of this.

I was talking to a few people the other day about this and i was informed the IWMAC hires out its autocross circuit for a day for a reasonable price. (I was told in the vicinity of $300 a day yet to be confirmed though.) Now this track is good fun. It has two different layouts. THe only problem i can see is that it is a dirt track but for old rolla's dirt is more fun anyway? In my opinion it is unless you are running something other than a k motor. If your interested i can find out some more information.
