Yeah i was pretty scared when i discovered it. As there was quite alot of noise coming from it. The stereo ran out of volume lol. I'm still stumped as to how they came undone.

Ok guys an update. I had a look underneath and discovered that my tailshaft bolts weren't too tight at all. and this was giving me my aforementioned diff noise. when the gearbox went back in i forgot to tighten them up. Its all good now. Unis were replaced when the car was put together so theyve only done 5000 kays.

The futuristic looks is only cause it is a concept car. No car-maker would have the balls tio release that onto the market. The eventual design will be alot more conservative and should be ok. I quite like the look of the 350z so hopefully it will be a similar shape but the new pathfinder looks like shit so i dunno where nissan design is going.

Yeah i dunno but today i didn't seem to hear it at all. Could it be that it sat in the one spot for about two weeks and the oil hadn't been circulated?

No idea on the unis. So if the tailshaft turns there should be very little free play at the wheels?

Yeah theres backlash (i think) The problem is that the rear wheels turn for about an inch and there is no tailshaft rotation.

Yeah your right on all those points. Most cars i saw were shitboxes with massive motors. hardly any decent show cars at all.

alright the new clutch has gone in and the car put back together but now there is a clunk in the diff. f%^^ing cars

At Powercruise i found two awesome rollas. One was the ultimate sleeper. A bog stock ke20 with a 13b rotary. (0ke20) The other one was also a ke20 which had a fesh paint, 4age? conversion. It was a four cylinder turbo not sure of the exact designation. Had a ae86 rear end in it with disc brakes. Also 15 inch weld racing lookalike wheels. (cke20) Just wondering if anyone has seen these or has any more info. =)

I don't know what they are called but i like the look of the 2 litre straight six and six speed manual out of lexus is200. It would be fairly easy as it is already rwd but engine length could be a problem.

I had the same idea funnily enough but haven't pursued it due to the fact i will need 4 and its a bitch to get to the back of my gauges.
