  1. Link to said dizzy? Had a quick check and couldn't find it.
  2. Well, our KE55 had approx. a 1.5" exhaust from the headers back.
  3. Burnouts on a 1.2L engine? You're dreaming :D
  4. Tried a teaspoon of oil down the cylinder trick? Sounds to me like you need new rings :P
  5. ^What he said. I was talking to a guy who knows everything there is to know about Mini's, and he couldn't recommend them enough. As they are so basic, there's very little that can go wrong with them and if it does, it's quite easy to fix. As soon as I pick a set up, I'm going to have a crack and rebuilding them myself and fitting them to the KE55. Also as he said, you need to have your vacuum spot on before you even think of installing SU's.
  6. I'd say it's for some sort of switch that the sparky has bridged. Pull one of the spades out and see what doesn't work.
  7. Option Audio 6" splits - absolutely shat all over the Alpine Type X's I compared them too. Generally splits around that dollar range aren't really worth it, you may as well stick with coax's if you're going to spend less than $200.
  8. You're nice :D Yesterday I asked for some pipe to be ordered so I wouldn't run out this morning, as soon as I got in the door I double checked with my manager that the pipe was going to be there, he assured me it was. Pipe comes at 1pm, three hours after I needed it -_-
  9. Ronald Jenkee's - Snap. If you haven't heard this guy, go and youtube that shit RIGHT now. He's one of the most amazing artists I've listened to in the past few years.
  10. I had local anaesthetic, tops came out without TOO much hassle (were slightly off going through my tonsils), bottoms had to have a 5cm cut in the gum, then the tooth chiselled into pieces and pulled out. Not to mention I came out of the OT with MASSIVE bruises all over my arms and upper chest, I don't really want to know what happened there :) To top it off, my body wasn't affected by the morphine at all, so I woke up in EXTREME pain and wasn't allowed any more painkillers. I still went out for Chinese the next night :y:
  11. Are you sure that's where the noise is coming from?
  12. Two weeks ago I would have been able to give you a casing for cheap :P
  13. Do you have TVIS or not? I believe that's one of the easiest ways to check. Neither is a "better" engine, they both have their benefits.
  14. Isn't R31 almost directly interchangeable with S13?
  15. Damn, if you were up here I'd get you to give me a hand pulling a 4K out :'( Do you accept payment in beer form?
  16. Bad idea. The vibration will eventually shake everything loose in the amp and it will let the magic smoke out :'(
  17. You'll need the carbies, a manifold to suit and the throttle linkage. You may also have to slightly upgrade your fuel system (remove mechanical pump, add aftermarket electric pump and regulator) if you want the best performance.
  18. Or twin 1.5" SU's. It all comes down to how the whole package is put together and how it's tuned.
  19. Could possibly be - I'll go get some pics of the whole setup. BTW, the engine in this car is a 21RC - Not a 22R.
  20. Lighten flywheel, remove clutch fan and run something around 290 degrees duration. Should see some excellent lump while remaining streetable.
  21. Aha, useful bit of information that. Will definitely come in handy when we do the brake and suspension upgrade :'(
  22. Anytime you want to get rid of any decent condition parts, you know who to contact :'( You could also have a misbalanced tailshaft and a dodgy gearbox mount (as I found my housemates does), which contributes to a LOT of engine shaking.
  23. http://web.archive.org/web/20060427102059/...rews/webers.htm
  24. If you're keen, it's something I can get done. PM me if you're really keen, I'll give you some more information.
