  1. don't know how a 13b would fit but I'm doing a 12a turbo into mine (in NZ is all legal). currently using a cosmo gear box for strength but its a bit long.I have talked to some people and they have recommended a W series supra gear box and custom adapter. either way the gear box tunnel and firewall have to be played with. I'm using the front mounts on the engine to mount to my ke10 and welding mounts to the chassis rails I'm going to go f series corona diff and looking into a custom front brake setup. don't know what yet. my brake master cylinder gets in the way and so exhaust setup is a bit of a pain.
  2. cosmo one, told it was one of the stronger rx gear boxes. don't know how true that was tho..
  3. also the gearbox length is a bit of a pain . I ended up using a shortened mx-5 remote shifter just to get it a little bit closer to the driver.
  4. nice to see a post like this. a couple extra bits of info, for front brakes i found this while i was roaming the net. It talks about upgrading disk brakes, some guy made it, it has his name in it. Its a really good and complete guide, havent implemented it yet but may do. ke10_fbu.zip
  5. cheers, although more slowly than i had hoped. I live in one city and the 10 is another. But yeah, going to get there one day
  6. well ive recently aquired a few new parts. Brand new tail lights, still in original boxes and some guards from a rollaclub member

  9. its going to be fully restored to 'should have come from factory' standard.
  10. well ive been a user here for a wee while, asking a few ke10 related questions and here's why this is the old girl as i first bought it, wasnt running but managed to get it running for a bit. wasnt regd tho, after a bit of time i decided to see what was under the paint. The primer spots were either bog or rust so far not much has happened. bought an engine to stick in here in nz, 12at are allowed, so long as its done right here are the mounts, engine bracket and cross member i made at work and this is the diff, its an f series out of an old corona well thats about it, i got some parts and stuff on the way, will take more pics and post later. here's my ke20 that i drive around in
  11. I'm sticking a 12a turbo into mine and my certifier wants to see them in there.
  12. o i c. So is a strut swap the only way to get vented disks on my ke10? what have other people used in the past?
  13. is there a vented disk that can be put on these hubs. I'm assuming ke20 disk hubs are the same as ke10 disk hubs.
  14. i have some advice, give me your inserts!!!
  15. cheers for that, that would be much appreciated.
  16. so they are standard struts with the hubs swapped? and the inserts were just bought straight from a shop or ordered specially?
  17. hey man, where did you score those tail lights from?
  18. hey were those suspension upgrades done on the original struts? if so could i please get the model number of the springs and inserts?
  19. 7k in new zealand, see below http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-65926113.htm but there was a posting on club-k illustrating difficulties with the conversion http://www.club-k.co.nz/Forums/viewthread.php?tid=7969 beautiful site, lots of clued up k lovers there
  20. I'm stickin a 12a turbo into a ke10, was looking at changing the diff to an f series diff out of a tt132 corona wagon. Are these all that strong? are lsd centres readily available? or should i just wait for a t series diff to come my way?
