  1. Beyond 2 years ago. They wouldnt know new technology if it bit them on the arse. Simpsons rawks. I don't think any other show present or future will be able to beat the success they enjoy. Futuramas awesome too and I hear theres a rumor they'll be making some more episodes soon!!! Rumored release date is 2007 :) I love The Family Guy and American Dad too....but theyre on too bloody late.
  2. In my opinion, yes, it makes a WORLD of difference. Alot of people will tell you youre gonna crack the extractors etc which IMO is bullshit. I drove for 2 years with wrap on my 2Ts extractors and had them glowing red hot several times after some spirited driving and they never showed any hints of cracking.
  3. I changed from an auto to a manual and dropped about 1.2L/100km (9.5 - 8.3) and I still have a borked dizzy with no working vac advance.

  7. Only problem you might have is matching up the gearbox slave cylinder size with the AE71 master cylinder. My advice would to talk to a clutch and brake place to see if they are able to resleeve or modify one or the other so they match. Otherwise you could have problems with an excessivly long or short stroke on the slave.
  8. Man, I remember the days trying to get top speeds. About 130 in my KE20 (whoa dude!! stock 3K powah) and 165ish in the TA22 (tired old 2T). These days I look down at the silvias speedo after a quick squirt in 3rd and easily see 160+ :)
  9. But strong compared to what? Compared to a 2JZ its about as strong as a twig. Personally I think you'll be too busy mincing gearboxes to even bother about the engine. How "fully worked" is it? Camshaft and oversized pistons? or are we talking the FULLY worked with billet rods & crankshaft, forged pistons etc etc etc. I think at the very least you're going to need head studs.

If you have a quick look around here you'll find a few guys with superchargers and there is a guy floating around who has put nitrous on his (and I think hes about to supercharge it as well). Who cares if it holds up or not....theyre a dime a dozen. If it blows up just replace it...

  19. Nope, gearbox never came with a 4.4 diff. But its even easier than that to change the speedo. Drop down to jaycar and buy a "Digital Speedo Corrector". Yay for electronic speedos :lolcry:
  20. We did my KE70 auto -> 5spd for a touch over $400. Teddy came over and gave me a helped and without a couple of hiccups we would have had it done that day. That said Teddy knows KE70s inside out so it might take longer if you don't know the car so well.

  24. Yes but you will also need a lifter pump. Pressures for the EFI fuel pump are up in the 50-60psi range. I think the Bosch pumps are rated at 73psi (5 bar).
  25. You need either a surge tank or an EFI fuel tank. You CANNOT get away without one or the other. I know people who have tried and failed miserably. I use a Bosch 040 in-tank pump on my Silvia. Theres more than enough fuel to supply a 4AGZE up to crazy power figures (somewhere around the 400hp mark provided you fit injectors that can feed that much fuel into the engine). Alternativly the 044 is external and supplys even more fuel (up to ~600hp :lolcry:)
