  1. Ive got a 600x300x76 on the silvia...but honestly I think its a bit too big. However...the smaller intercoolers (i.e. 450x300) are more expensive...go figure. p.s. f@$k you jamie :D j/ks
  2. umm....thats what usually happens...you kinda have to have the revs rise in order to accelerate...you know...with that whole engine being connected to the wheels thing....
  3. Throw a liberty water-air intercooler in there... http://www.japparts.com.au/images/subaruwtaint.jpg doesnt look like an ideal place for an air-air intercooler. Its right over the exhaust and any time spent sitting still is gonna cause HUGE heat soak.
  4. GT42R :D....they must really enjoy LAG!
  5. Short answer...It wont fit. but...it isnt hard (for an exhaust shop) to modify it to fit.... The extractors alone will possibly fit. Just watch they don't foul the steering idler arm.
  6. no no...twin throttle bodys is no problem at all. I don't like the way theyve just welded on a flange...right after a 45 degree bend too. I can just see lots of turbulance where you really don't need it. Looks like a VG30DET...in some kind of Z car? Dunno why they didnt change to one of the 3 or 4 other plenum designs...
  7. have they never heard of clocking the turbo housings? don't like the way its piped into throttle bodys either....
  8. ROFL
  9. Well theres been someone who couldnt resist and just HAD to report somethign that didnt need reporting. Now quite a few steps closer to mod review...thanks for wasting my time A REAL Thank you to everyone else who has the common sense to resist until theres something that REALLY needs reporting...
  10. Then youve got more than 59hp at the flywheel when you consider drive train loss. What mods have you got? My KE20 which was virtually stock (maybe a weber on it when i ran? don't remember) and had a very tired 3K ran a 19.56@ about 60mph on the quarter mile
  11. I think the dyno operator started the run too early.. so the dip in the middle is probably where he changed gears. And whats this crap with plotting time vs power output. It should be RPM or wheel speed vs power output... Id just take the max figures down the bottom and use that This is how a good dyno run (by a good operator on a dyno dynamics shooutout dyno) should look
  12. Skip the EFI. Very old technology and carbys are better than it was. That is unless your gonna go aftermarket and ditch 90% of the old EFI system. And besides, who can resist the sound of quad side drafts. Ive got a dead 2T block (blocks ok...piston isnt) if your interested...and local...
  13. Some of you may have noticed a few spam bots on the boards in the past few days. Ive implimented a change that SHOULD stop them. If you see any spam please use the button instead of replying to the topic saying to lock it etc. This way all the administrators will get the message and we can clean this garbage up quicker. Thanks, Ben
  14. All done and dusted. All up including bearings it was about $125 and 30ish minutes
  15. Easiest axel removal EVER. Seriously took all of 3 seconds to get the axel out once the bolts were undone. Mind you it took about an hour to find an electrical problem that stopped the car from starting along with the flat battery. Goddamn cars...
  16. haha... I was hoping so much you were joking. Its the celica :n:...again I guess I'll just have to give a few random places a call. P.S. Get a job in mining :P
  17. Looking for a place in Brisbane to do it for me. don't have the time or patience to do it myself :n:. All I can find in the yellow pages are places that supply bearings...
  18. Mini-driftin-psoo (5min job :D)
  19. hahaha It accually reminds me of one particular V8 supercar incident at Phillip Island...just it resulted in an accident. I'm not sure what happened to that kart. I think it was a snapped "strut" bolt. All I know is there was no turn in on left hand coners :D
  20. http://www.gokarts.net.au/flashsite/kartinfo.html Base kart - 80kmph lightweight - 90kmph clubman - over 100kmph just....take a jacket or something. The motors are REALLY hot.
  21. Damm right jamie, I'm the same. The difference in price between 1.10 and 1.20 a L at the end of the day for my corolla is about as much as a can of coke and a burger from the lunch lass would cost. If people want to keep on the savings, how about they stop smoking, stop driving like a hoon, Stop getting those unnessary snacks from the local chew n spew. Pfft, just think, within 30 odd years, there will be nothing like there is today. I'm sure BP ultimate will be a thing of the past.. Unless fuel went upto $2.00 a / L.. Meh, at xmas I'm getting fuel economy back into the car anway. I'm very much the same. don't care because in the end its more hassle than its worth. I'm lucky because I do a good percentage of highway driving...and the celica is VERY good on highway fuel consumption (for its age...regardless it still rivals modern cars, even with my lead foot)
  22. Can I have the $50??
  23. Put me down for x2 (two in total...)
  24. ahh I see now...my mistake
  25. Can we set a date for this please?
