  1. no no youve got me wrong. GTR brakes are overkill. S13 brakes will probably be about the right size. My car is only about 100kg lighter than an S13. Weigh bridged at 1.15 tonnes. I said I thought it would be hard...but after looking at it, it doesnt seem so hard. And it gives me the option to move to TEIN coil overs :insane:

  3. What about some kind of lead fastener? Ive seen them somewhere. I'm sure Rob will have a solution. The older aircraft have cable controlled control surfaces (before fly by wire came in)

  16. I dunno...honda motors are worked off their tits from factory. Alot of honda guys that change VTEC camshafts end up going backwards and making things worse. I mean wheres the fun in _trying_ (usually in vain) to try and pull more power out of them.

  18. Ok postage rates are about $53ish for 5kg and $120ish for 15kg AUD.
  19. yea extractors are tricky. I'll see what I can digup freight wise etc.
  20. yea get a ST185 half cut and go nuts. don't forget that the aftermarket ECU will need tuning too (About $200 or so each time) Beware the eBay turbo. Alot of them (although they may be built by a reputable company and rebranded) are primative designs with poor efficency levels. If you were going to stay 3S-FE I would suggest something like a toyota CT20 or garrett T25G. Intercoolers Id beware of too. Buy of someone you can trust (eg modyourcar.com.au which is run by Dan Rucci of the late rollaboyz club). Just remember that most of the sellers on ebay are just there to try and make a quick buck and someones gonna be suckered.
  21. You get the back half of the car. Rolin automotive has one in stock for $2,500. they also have a 3S-GTE for $2,500 too....
  22. well...It probably wouldnt be worth shipping that far. I think it would end up cheaper to get a set made up. Over here it costs about $200AUD to get a custom set made up. I'll try and find out for you sometime anyway.
  23. Theyre worth about $200AUD so your probably better off getting 4 into 1 extractors. Picture attached. Turbo hangs underneath. I think I can find second hand 4 into 1 extractors for about $100-150AUD
  24. mines 2.25" using 4 into 1 extractors. Unfortunatly the rear muffler is only a 1.75" so It feels somewhat restrictive. Manifolds, hrmm. Maybe use a 3T-GTEU turbo manifold. should allow for a bit more freedom.
