demuire: I was just thinking. Maybe you could get your discs machined a bit, where the disc face attaches to the hub. Maybe to the same to the hub...that would bring the disc away from the control arm another 2-3mm maybe?

don't touch silverstone...theyre crap...very bad in the wet.

Just make sure you get the right offset so it clears the strut. If you want wider wheels ask for wider wheels don't go much more than 7-9 inches wide... What would i say if i wanted wheels with more mag and less rubber? (low profile): get bigger rims (say 15s) and then the tyre size would be like 195/40R15. There are sites out there that explain all this...go have a look.

nah they'll be wheel nuts My GFs beetle has full stud and nut...its a bitch to get the wheel lined up caws you can't hang it off the studs.

my GF got her beetle reupholstered. Cost $400 for the roof and the two doors. Looks great professionally done... not for me tho... I love bare metal... (good bye mr roof lining)

hahaha just suspect. I think if a car can't slow down from 100kmph quicker than it can accelerate it should be anywhere near the road. ODDs new braking package wipes off speed pretty damn well. Althought not quite as well as I was anticipating. I suspect this is due to aged brake pads. and having no brake booster doesnt help.
