Just ran my plans through Dyno2000 and came up with 137hp @ 7500rpm without Nitrous on a street cam 187hp @ 7500rpm with nitrous on a street cam 142hp @ 7500rpm running methanol hrmm...seems interesting :D

yep sure is JUN has managed to get one out to over 1200hp The supra it was in almost wheel stood on street legal slicks!!

Ok guys I was gonna keep it all hush hush but meh..f@$k that OK the deal with my new motor is this: ported 3K-C head (shaved only to make sure the head is flat...not to raise compression too much) 4K-C block - acid bathed - possibly shotpeened 60thou overbore ACL pistons, rings, bearings Lightened crankshaft - shotpeened Lightened flywheel 5K con-rods Reground cam (430thou intake lift, 400thou exhaust, 100-100 separation) Possibly buying nicks 4-1 extractors and exhaust... The intake is what I'm excited about I'm getting a ford fairlane XD EFI manifold, Injectors, fuel rail and pump for next to nothing. Manifold will be a custom jobbie. EFI will be controlled by a MegaSquirt or similar. (I'm likening to megasquirt because of the hand controller :D) probably a few other things in there I'm missing. Hoping for 130hp (so I can eat excels and run 15sec quarters)

7Ks are 1.8L and EFI and I PRESUME thats what they have used. 5Ks are 1.5L. a 7K is just a "stroked" version of the 5K...like the 4K is a "stroked" 3K Go rip a 7K out of a 1997 Liteace :D

OK guys, for the past few days Ive been working on my new head. I'm porting it myself first...before any other work happens so that if I breach the port walls I havent lost $200 on spring and valve work. Ive been using my "dremel" I picked up from supercheap for $39 My advice is don't waste your money on these. Spend over $100 and get yourself a decent die grinder. Mine overheats frequently and has other issues...such as bearing shake (have to hold the case so that it doesnt vibrate and loose rpm. Just spend the extra money and get it right the first time!!

well when you put it that way...mine looks easy...lol I'll sort something out...even if it means getting different calipers. If it comes to that I'm tempted to try and use VN-VR rear calipers....g0t stopping power!?

eww evil evil spring platforms lmao looking good other than that :D just looking at that backing plate...the stud pattern is different to mine...where as I had been told it would be the same... hrmm...might have to weld and redrill or find sone backing plates that are big enough to take the calipers.
