Well not much progress, but it's progress none the less.. fuel hoses and some cables for the battery and alt showed up.. first time using proper fittings but I didn't do to bad I've been backed off at work from 72 hours to 48 hours which is a good but a bad thing.. less money but more time to work on the Rolla.. I've gotta bust the tig welder out on the fuel cell and surge tank, and that's the fuel system done.. then it's just the exhaust and tail shaft to do.. and then wait on ky trailer to be built (around about august 10th) and trailer it around the country side to get things done to it that I simply can't do my self..

Shit yea I'm getting a trailer soon too hopefully, just gotta wait for my tax return, it's a tilt trailer so should make loading and unloading a bit easier

Couple of happy snaps cause I have nothing else to do with this weather... I'm thinking I'm not gunna worry about painting the interior yet, just wait till everything else is done, and then get a cage out in later down the track, and paint it all at the same time.. I need to weld a plate over this when I can afford some more welding gas

Strange rule either way, I was positive that in NSW you need to have some sort of cover over your doors (to replace the original door cards) but I've seen heaps of cars that haven't had anything on NSW tracks... Could just depend on what track you go on I guess..

lucky i only weigh 85kg than haha, i come out of jail weighing 69kg.. i wish i had of weighed everything i took out of my car too, would have been interesting to see just how much i saved aircon & pump, heater, carpet, sound deadening, rear seats, roof lining, door trims, dash, race seats installed, factory loom removed, front & rear bars removed, factory fuel tank, spare tyre removed, steel rims replaced with rotas, alloy wheel nuts (lol) theres a couple of things there that would obviously add weight like braided hose, intercooler, turbo etc. but it's still a massive saving and i don't think i could bring my self to sell the shit box yet, it owes me close to 19 triple zero's already.. also i'll definitely be getting dyno sheets when it goes off for a tune, i'm most curious as to see how much torque it puts out

My budget was 10g max... I've pretty much doubled that and more now hahah .. and mine probably had more rust in it than your two out together.. I really don't care anymore.. fiberglass fixes everything lol.

Haha thanks man, I'm just sick of seeing it the way it is in a million pieces... Also where is your build thread??? I can't seem to find it.. I managed to get one picture today, but my phone went flat and I wanted to get into it Oh and this is what I'm spending my tax money on... Maybe, I have a lot if debts to pay but this just seems so much more worth it.

Interior completely stripped, all sound deadener off, seam sealed all my welds, coat of the good old bog on q few of the rough bits.. forecast 4 days of heavy rain so I give her a coat of prepsol and threw it under a car cover. Can't wait to see at least a coat of primer on this thing !!

It definitely keeps the motivation up seeing everyone else getting into it, that's what's kept me going so far.. the way things have been lately I don't think mine will be done until November, which is fine with me anyways because I won't have my licence back until then..

I got told it was illegal on a track .. hmmm... In all honesty I can't stand the sound of side pipes, or anything without any sort of resonator for that matter..
