anyone know how to wire one of these?? it has a small wire around 18 gauge coming off it.. but i'm unsure if its a ground wire or a trigger wire? take it to the ignition? i can't see how it would turn on and off so my guess is ignition wire? i can't find any info about it so any help would be much appreciated :yes:

4 layers of glass on one box, and made the plug for the other one. started making the countersunk amp rack to but couldn't finish it cause the neighbors are sooks and don't like my jig saw for some reason :glare: making the rings tomorrow hopefully and than start glassing the other half of the boxes and running the cables :yes:

yessss, fibre glass showed up and the wiring and other shit, picked up some distribution blocks and gold battery terminals, new earth straps etc. now i gotta wait till i'm sober tomorrow and start finishing off the boxes lol

capacitor showed up this morning, a lot of people say they are useless spend your money on a second battery bla bla bla. go sit on a stick. unfortunately the idiots at aus post dented it when it was in the mail, so hopefully it still works and doesnt blow up on me! going to the effort of making some flush mount rings for when it comes time to stretch fleece over the boxes, just waiting on my fibre glass which should be here tomorrow :dance: also waiting on my 0 gauge wiring kit and optima battery. oh and got a bargain on these bad boys :cool: now all i need is a decent enough amp to run them (more money)

definatly start with all new nolathane style bushes.. and than maybe an adjustable rear sway bar.

yea if you could send me a link it would be good, do u mean like how they stretch fleece over the ring once its mounted or something else? i like to read a fair bit on a topic before i attempt it so any help would be much appreciated :happy:

thanks phil.. i sorta sat down and had a think about it and i worked out it was gunna cost me roughly $450 if i kept buying it in small amounts.. searched around on the net and got hold of 10kg resin and 10 sq meter of mat for $220.. didn't realise i was paying so much !! cheers rigga its not really skills but, just got in and had a crack at doing it my self, saved heaps of money, it doesn't look as good as a professional job but there is a good sense of satisfaction doing it your self. this is the first time ive ever attempted to actually make something out of fibreglass, eventually the whole boot will be re-trimmed in the same vinyl as the doors.

one plug half done.. worst part of fibre glassing is you have to wait for it to set for 24 hours before you can pull it out i bought our local hardware store out of resin and matting.. so have to wait till next week for more to come in.

bit of progress .. got all new windows in and new bailey chanel's also had one of my new amps show up now just waiting on the rockford fosgate capacitor, cadence cable kit and optima yellow top battery. started making the amp mount to countersink the amp a bit also started making my sub enclosures .. oh the joys of fiberglassing !

yeah mine has fallen back off twice in two days so i think i might try lining it with silicone.. gotta love corollas hey !

mmm i might have to give it a go .. maybe epoxy or something? i tried putting it back on 5 times already and it just keeps popping off.. tried playing around with the regulator but it wont have a bar of it.

sorry to gate crash a thread but i got new windows today (well second hand) put them in an than this come off.. would i be able to get back on or is it buggered? i don't wanna break the windows

started loading the boot with sound deadner today .. the stuff i ordered wasnt self adhesive so i just used construction adhesive... 20 tubes of construction adhesive later...

well bit of progress .. subs showed up at my door, and also the cheap version of dynamat sound deadner i ordered. also ordered some new side windows so I'm gunna wait for them to show up so i can install the sound deadner while puttin the new windows in..
