No you do not need the previous owner's details. You are supposed to write the name down of who you got it from but just wing it. You won't need name address etc Copy the details for engine number etc from the old rego sticker if it has one. If you don't have any papers or sticker for it at all you could be in a pickle :blush:

Is the rego close to expiry? When it expires, go in and fill out an MR1 form with all the details. It will transfer into your name. If you do this prior to expiry you will lose the remaining rego that is on there which is why I suggest waiting until it expires.

WMMH: Buying a car cheap (and I mean dirt cheap) and discovering the only reason it didn't run was due to previous owners stupidity. Zero spend to fix and it is a perfectly good car SCORE :dance:

Dishonest people. If a car has a BHG don't disguise it as something else, sell the car cheap (ridiculously cheap), send me on a wild goose chase to get it, wasting another person's time as well. Nothing so far... I'm saving up for something good, real good :dance: The Crown was great but even on LPG it was horribly uneconomical! Sold it to a great guy who really appreciated the condition of it and will take good care of it

Indeed I am I'm working on a 50% theory for lowballing on there. Whatever I advertise for I will get offered 50% or less so yes the price there is optimistic with that in mind. That's not what I expect to receive for them as I'm not that silly.

Thanks for the tip on the stud pattern. I'm kind of in agreeance on the early hubcaps not suiting it, but what do you do I waited a while for some to come up :bash: It's up for sale so the new owner can do what they like with it I guess :fuzz:

5 x 108 Gay Ford and Holden stud pattern It does mean however I could run 8" wide ford rims with a hubcap fitted to make it look "stock"
