Rt142 Corona. Cheap as because people think they are crap. The motor aint that slow, probably comparable to a 4age bigport in power. Must be manual though... the auto ones chew the juice and are slow. I have 3 of them, 2 manny and 1 auto. Could probably get one for $1500 in good nick ;)

It is because the term m.i.n.t has been overused and used for cars which are far from m.i.n.t. Hell I wouldn't call this m.i.n.t - clean yes but I'm betting my first born on it being resprayed at some point in time ;) Nice pick up - AE71 CSX is the top of the pops!!!

This. Especially when it was acquired at say a quarter of the price of others. Yeah it may end up being 'race use only' but for the money I couldn't even have bought a half decent Go Kart :blush: :dance:

I agree. When my brother in law were in it with the top down we could have been looked upon as... well you know. But I am a bit taken by the car due to its handling etc. That and it was an absolute bargain!

check your connections on the flasher unit.... mine were slow to flash on my KE11. Shoved the plugs back on harder/better and they flashed correctly. Maybe clean the terminals too, remember these things are near 40 years old

I saw a white KE15/17 Sprinter Saturday night go past my place in the hills.

You would probably need to use the cross member from the RA65 also as that will have the right mounts for the 22RE. The Carby to EFI issue will be your biggest concern. As you have a donor car there though the only thing you would require is the time and effort really. If for whatever reason you feel you wish to sell the 22RE car let me know as I would be interested in it for parts for my 22RE Corona Wagon. :y: PM me if need be. I'm in SA also.
