Update: Bought some dirt cheap MA61 seats. They're going to get reupholstered at some stage. Preferably blue vinyl like the back seat. How she runs at the moment: To do: Bumpers Choppies back in.

I bet the rotator splint is holding the denso drive back. All yo need to do is pull out the oil rectification unit off (the 2 bolts under the FG). Then drag it out. Don't pull on the leading lead lines though. :y: Serious time haha. What was the oil like when you first got it? Also, my nancy is better!

Update: As everyone may have realised, I didn't go last night... Going through all the checks at about 745, just got the bumpers on. Topped up the oil levels, checked the tyres and cleaned her out. She was ready. Drove her home to have a shower and get ready, then went to fill her up. Came onto the main road let the beast out, just outside of town. Went around a corner towards the highway, and the charge light came on. I wasn't too worried at this point, thought a lead had just fallen off. I pulled over and everything seemed fine. Except the Negative terminal on the battery. I managed to drive her back to Dad's shop and we concluded that the alternator had overloaded. I was pretty wrecked at this point. I need a new alternator. She was running very well with the new exhaust on her, best car ever. The sound she makes!

The engine wasn't screwed. It was just running terribly, from the injectors being filled with gunk.

We tried but after cleaning them out, they're still blocked, so I'm rebuilding them, getting new gaskets.

Should get it done properly, you won't regret it.

Did you get yours tuned properly?

4k coil, After market igniter for a range rover. Spark is ridiculous. cost me $20. Thinking about going MSD at some stage, if it can make her run better I will. Don't need a rev limiter. :cool:

I always use 91, I was shown an engine that was filled with gunk from being on 95 it's whole life. Everything was sticking together. I'd never use it in an injected car.

Almost... Always seem to be saying that haha. Wiring is basically done, have to plug everything in. Found 2 Exhaust manifold bolts snapped off in the head, and painted over. Only had time to get 1 out. Extractors are going on tomorrow, then she's going to the exhaust bloke. Cleaned out the Carbs and they were still backfiring a bit. Found that they were still blocked somewhere, running very lean in the primaries. She runs, just not too well. Ordered 2 Carb rebuild kits from the US, which should be coming some time this week.

Please tell us your plans of toughening it up! Going for some 14", wide stockies sounds like an amazing idea, and a little bit lower. Decent pickup.
