  1. HAHA, he always learns the hard way. :laff:
  2. Sway Bar in. Tail lights wired up. LCA's ready to go in. Vinyl back seat in.
  3. gosh there's a lot of bog in that valence panel haha. goo to see you making time for her!
  4. Check your earths, in the tail lights. It's called the indicator stalk.
  5. get cut falcon springs, make the cut look neat paint yellow. legal. agreed with the locker being the thing that gets you a defect.
  6. the switch shouldnt have power going to it? is that a joke? lol to test wires for power you need a test light, which is basically a wire that shorts the circuit with a globe inbetween, if the globe comes on the wire is in some way connected to the battery or has power.
  7. check to see if your new globe actually works. check to see if the wire going into the switch has power, from the fuses and before the switch if all else fails, start from the source and follow the trail.
  8. Might sound stupid, but is the PCV blocked? Also, I'd swear by the Genuine Toyota goop.
  9. you get new strut INSERTS, and lowered springs. you need lowered leaves for the back, and short stroke shocks if you like.
  10. plug into original loom, hook up the wires that went to the 4k coil, to your new coil. should work fine.
  11. Those are all my hard years at school paying off...
  12. quads are easy to fit, the relays is probably the hardest thing. Bumpers is annoying because off all the different tools etc. I need to get together haha. Edit: how I'm going to do it, I have bolts from a ke30 bumper to use aswell.
  13. Hey there friend, I bought the bars from a user who was recently flagged as a bad trader, messed up a few orders. have a look in the parts sale section. UPDATE: Hyperpack on its way, guy whom I bought it from forgot to send it, should be here early next week. She'll be running very soon. Free JDM tail lights form the malaysia, good quality ones. ke30 LCAs. Sway bar going in. Finally got my hands on a decent vinyl back seat. Kings are going to stay in for gor (missus doesn't like bumpyness :glare: ) Gonna be ready.
  14. sticky :y:
  15. might be worth popping round to a panel beaters or paint matching shop and asking them, they'll probably mix it up for you too.
  16. Everyone is pretty tight about chopping it seems. I have a ke70 that was on choppies, then onto super low kings. Made her a 4wd. Also another ke70 on chopped falcon springs. Going to get another set of falcons instead of the kingies.
  17. Choppies and you're set.
  18. According to google, they haven't set any new laws yet. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi_06_-_guidelines_for_light_vehicle_modifications_nov_2007.pdf I doubt they'll change it a lot. Best way to find out is contact an engineer.
  19. Yea I suppose....
  20. You don't think they're reliable? $260, christmas special or some such.
  21. its not bad, the fitment jus wont be perfect.
  22. I'm weighing up my options at this stage. I'd rather electronic, and if I can't get the parts I'll fall back on the 4k dizzy. EDIT: Hyperpack bloke sent me an email, gonna buy one.
  23. ahh that makes sense ;]
  24. Thanks Trev, I'll email him now. I'm not too good at machining things, I'm more of a "use a hammer" kinda guy haha. but this is what you mean yes? I remember seeing someone make a spacer the thickness of the difference of the 2 dizzy shafts, instead of cutting the shaft? Which would save machining anything. I'm not sure if I remember that correctly... Having said that, I've seen about 5 different ways of building it. If I don't have any luck with the hyperpack, which seems like the more viable option at this stage. I'll use it instead. Cheers.
