  10. milk shake under the cap? steam out the bonnet? was it getting hot or was the gauge just showing high? how hot was the radiator hoses? somethings you should check before the next step. check the operation of the thermostat, water pump and radiator. removing the thermostat only covers the problem not solves it.

  12. thats who ive rang around and the price ive gotten over the fone.
  13. just some prices i got when i was looking into clutchs. $100 for pbr HD $180 for extreme $280 for exedy HD
  14. also you should changed your clutch pressure plate to suit the heavy duty clutch.
  15. the problem is your 5 speed is a 19 tooth input shaft. the 5k 200mm is 21 spline. 4k is 19 tooth 180mm. just get a HD exedy 180mm 19 spline clutch.
  16. if its 180mm its a 4k flywheel clutch. ive heard (don't quoted me!) that 200mm clutch/flywheels fit in ke70 4 speeds only!
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lBlDcN7fCs all finished! i need to tune the carby badly. loves it up to 7 grand :D if I'm idling for a bit theres no vacuum in the booster? i thought the valve adjustment was a little tight so i re checked that. when taking off it just doesnt move untill 3 grand then all hell brakes loose :D needs rejetting and another hotbox gasket as the bolts ratlled them selves loose :glare:

thats why my old cam ran out of puff at 5000rpm. but I'm sure i used the correct timing marks. check it with the dial indicator and data card. was way off. moved 2 teeth and recheck. still wasnt perfect. jumped another and was spot on!
  20. cam timing is 110%. next thing after this is getting the carby looked at. i think its the power valve always stuck open therefore ZERO fuel eco.
  21. UJELLY?
  22. cam in. timed to perfection with a dial indicator. all thats left. thermo housing drill new hole in 4th runner for booster fit new manifold change oil and run in new cam recheck valve adjustment time the dizzy SCARE SOME BOGANS!

i used a dial indicator and a camshaft degreeing kit to dial my cam into day. used the stock timing marks and found it was still 3 teeth out (or 60 degrees)!?!
