  1. Good to see your back in it man. Love the cancer.... :no2: Nothing that can't be rectumfied. Gotta say... A RARE PIECE!
  2. Yeah and it causes the suspension to work backwards. It might be low but every bump will launch your arse skyward.
  3. Fixed the charging issue that's been plaguing me for like 6 months. Just disconnected the alternator regulator. What a ʞ©$ɟer.... Now waiting for some coin to get a hole in the chassis welded, get the exaust rectumfied and get a mod plate for the hulking donk. It's a good thing i'm not holding my breathe....
  4. :lolcry: If I had a $1 for every "5k help" thread on this forum, my ke20 would be on the road.....
  5. Put a 30amp fuse in it...
  6. a ke10....?
  7. Brother got this on Friday. 91' Cressida Grande. Other brother got this today. 86' 4 Runner Turbo Diesel. Combined they spent 3400$. Jealous? Yes! But I still got this...
  8. 135... that is epic!
  9. It's been a while. Not much has happened. I'm kind of sick of seeing this thing sitting in the garage gathering dust. I took the streetfire box thing out today. No sense in it being there. Had to reset the timing and idle speed. Doesn't run much different, maybe better, other than the flat spot between gear changes. Could be the exaust leak. Pops like crazy on over run. I've got another brake switch because the last one I got ʞ©$ɟed out rather quickly and I lost my brake lights. That little ʞ©$ɟer is harder to change than the starter motor. Anyway no plans to get this thing on the road yet. I'm poorer than a snail without a shell.
  10. My old man did one in a ke70. Went well indeed.
  11. They are 9 inches or 227cm. They also use a 12in trim ring.
  12. haha next time you talk to us like that i'll use your pretty face as a bukakae dart board :owned:
  13. thrust washer... piston slap? heavily worn rings or broken skirts?
  14. Knock knock... Who's there? 3k!... 3k who>? 3k Energy, and you are paying too much for your electricity!... Welcome to Australia ʞ©$ɟA!
  15. One of the neatest... achoo!
  16. Don't they have the gear ratio's of a John Deer?
  17. It fits. It's not 100% right but it fits. You should use the gaurds, bonnet, garnishes, grill and lights.
  18. You can't just replicate the top end of this thing... timing cover, sump, upright kit, manifolds, water and oil pump and pickup. I'd guess its bottom end is built like that of an... f1 car. Then there's ignition & fuel system, crank gear, cam gear, cams, followers, valves, stems & seals, rocker cover. Shit the list goes on. You'd have to be real keen because i'd estimate five figures each. I don't mean to dash hopes but the block alone probably needs thousands spent on it. It wouldn't be running a stock crank or bearings for sure. You could expect to be building an engine from scratch.... Good Luck any how.
  19. The k motors short ratio's are good. you'll still sit around 3 grand on a hundred unless you go long in which you'll sacrifice any performance in the name of economy. I've got a '00 Holden Ashtray 1.8L 5sp for example.: 1st-long 50kph, 2nd-short 80kph, 3rd-short 120kph, 4th-short 160kph, 5th-long 210kph  . @ 5,500rpm peak changes. Yet 100kph in 5th gear is 3000rpm The '04 Camry Tivo 2.4L 5sp for example: 1st-short 40kph, 2nd-short 80kph, 3rd-long 160kph, 4th-long at 200kph and haven't been past there..... 6000rpm peak changes :o but still 2900rpm at 100kph in 5th. YOU WILL USE HOW MUCH FUEL WE TELL YOU TO USE!!!"Oil Barons..."
  20. Stick a bolt under the accelerator pedal and wind it in when you want to race and out when your on the street. If your not opening sidedrafts up all the time it won't use too much fuel. People don't look at thread dates very often.... '09
  21. a strange growling noise that increases with revs? coming from the engine? probably the quad throttle bodies doing what they do best...
  22. yeah... I used to have a CHEVY!
