hahahaha lol spencer comes with the funny. i was stoked to see the aussies get up, i was nervous when all blacks came out after smoko and put 20+ phases together to score a try, was great to see the aussies pick back up though. WGMG, McCaw punching whats his name in the head repeatadly as he stands over the ruck, but then when whats his name knees him in the head in what could be an accident, he gets ripped a new asshole. and also the ref, yes good on you for letting the game flow, but f@$k you for being an incompetent fool.

pretty sure he is talking about engine cross member dave, where did you get gbox crossmember from?
-
why do youi think they charge that? its an in demand part, and people are paying the prices. you could always pay to have one modified and engineered....then the 300 seems very cheap...
-
toughen up princess, go to work hung over, or don't drink if you want the over time
-
since whens ICV unavailable? i always thought it was...
-
exactly, they would all be ICV's, you can't do it under the blue plate laws... but 3RZ is the way, how did they go height wise in the 38? very long stroke on those suckers...
-
you could try paul at (i think its) d&p mechanical in beenliegh, he passed my 2 door ke70 when he probably shouldnt of, but i dunno how he goes with rust, he can be a right pain in the arse.....

i don't care what gear he broke them in, i know how alot of guys drive and i understand entirely why they can break 10 of something and someone with more power can drive faster and break less. thats up to you to decide how your going to drive it :)
-
and there are people with 250hp ke70's banging around on the standard ke70 diff, which is much weaker than a t series. all depends if you drive like a wanker or not :)
-
street driven, probably
-
considered ke70 wagon? theyre bigger than ke70 sedans diffs, bigger brakes too, but not over the top etc... i also happen to have one handy if you wanted it :jamie:

lol @ vito, i hope your selling it while its still under warranty? my mate drives one for a work van (hes a sparky) and hasnt had an issue with it, his boss bought it second hand too... and tim, don't worry about evan mate, he gets on everyones tits much more than you do ;)

your next skill to learn timothy is that each post has a post date, it usually pays to have a look at that, and consider if your comment warrants dragging up a post from the dark ages... cheers, andy

mmm, probably wouldnt bother, the carpet will kill a good bit of the noise, and the underlay can make issues with the pedals etc...

take the padding off, i hate the look of the padding, and in road worthy terms you ahve to be able to see the A pillar either side of the cage padded it makes it unroadworthy. yours looks to have alot of padding, do you know why its all padded?

rear stays will go to the tops of the spring towers, as cage has to stay between axle lines to meet cams, and its convenient (sort of) to mount coilovers at a later date ;) taxi bar at shoulder height put harnesses in perfect angle for cams, if i drop it right down to the floor its way outside of the acceptable angle. why are you not a fan of the taxi bar? the cage is a little over the top, but id rather do it once and be happy with it, its one of those things you really can't simply modify once its welded to the floor. lots of work indeed, good job Luke at turboshop is a good guy :)

and just for the sake of it, ideas for connections for the front hoop to the pillar And this is a possible option i thought was quite neat for keeping the taxi bar for the harnesses as close to the seats as possible, while still maintaining the X brace in the main hoop... Not sure why this fellow has not gusseted all of those connection points, i am thinking i will, but not sure on how much my fabricator will like the idea... i do like the gussets in this thing http://cagethis.com/2009/12/porsche-944-complete/

OK, so cage is booked for commencement saturday I put the missus to good use yesterday and actually drew a basic outline of the cage i want to build, front and rear, and an optional rear. opaque grey members are optional pending fit in the car.... reason for roof bracing done like that is so its not above the head when driving, so it keeps me street legal with ease, and obviously carry that same design down the rear stays to keep it strong, my concern is how much protection i have from crushing of the main hoop with this setup. thats the front view of the same design, with the bracing to the strut towers, it looks a bit wonky, but we couldnt work out how to make it look any better, and its really just so i can show all you helpful people, and also the fabricator what i want essentially. thats my other alternative. we have moved the taxi bar for the harnesses from the main hoop to the back stays, which in the corolla at that height is probably less than 200mm i would assume. gives me double diagonal bracing in the main hoop to give me more protection against crushing, more weight though...and is really gonna look like a jungle gym in the back there... i dunnoooo, thoughts opinions and suggestions? obviously braces to all bends where possible will be added, can't do anything that will cross the door opening unfortunately, but cage will sit back from door opening a bit, so should get some in. pics of progress will be forthcoming if we get started lol

jump on the POS cams website, you should be able to find the log book application form, i did, hardest part if choosing the category you wanna be logged booked to, and meeting the schedule, shouldnt be an issue that the shop isnt there anymore, you can log book a home built cage I'm pretty sure so long as it meets the standard...

f@$kING CAMS WEBSITE FUUUUUUUU
-
chea bro, bent the last chassis so wanna stiffen this one up, and may aswell get the cage done right the first time. dunno what I'm gonna log book the car as seeings as its got a 1g in it, pretty much rules out tarmac rally classes from what i can tell, which is what i wanted to log it as. CAMS are f@$king hopeless to deal with though. they can't even give me a straight answer of whether someone comes and scrutineers the car when i do my log book or not... cams does talk about padding the cage, I'm basically trying to not pad mine at all, the QLD transport regs also mention padding, if you've read them? you can make your side intrusions bolt ins, or I'm probably going to use one of the new fancy pants clamp systems and just put them in when i need them...
-
yeah, building car to the 2012 schedule J already :) just trying to find what we do and don't need to be able to log book it as a certain category.
