does anyone know the length of that groove? or whatever you wanna call it? cause the only difference is that you have to cut that bit out longer hey? i just looked on another car of mine and found the opening alot longer than it needs to be, and its a JDM front end, so i might have one for sale, if someone can tell me how long it is ill check if mine is right... or i could measure my own only just thought of this.. genius...right!

by lump do you mean divet? the exhaust port tract has a divet, ie, its not a protusion. measured the exhaust valve, but ive forgotten what it was. I'm thinking 29 mm but that sounds quite large, ill check again, anyless anyone thinks thats right? anyone that wants anything off this, speak up, the whole lot will be going to scrap when i get a chance, ie, within a week or two

anyone got info on builds of these motors, or what they can handle and what to expect to have to do to them? power figures for boost levels? weight? what box, if you say getrag 6 speed I'm gonna kick you in the face...

nah waiting to hear what capacity i can go to. would be tempted with a small euro trash v8, or something euro. i dunno, i don't really wanna go back to a 4 cylinder, dunno what i would get which would be smooth but torquey and also rev well... which the 1g does sorta thing... and get the weight shifted back. got a lead on some easy to access corner scales, so gonna hopefully tomorrow corner weight it standard, then asap mash a mocked up 1g in the bay, add some weight at the front to mimic rad and intercooler, and see just how bad the weight is. if anyone has suggestions... gonna be turbo no matter what. spent most of today on the phone about roll cages, so that might actually happen rather quickly. expectation is over 23 metres of tube will go in. gotta speak to an engineer in the morning. and that light on the rear quarter is a parker light typea thing, comes on with the headlights...

17cc in the piston 28cc in the head hows that stack up compared to a 5K? to me that seems like hella low compression? measurements are as best as i could get... possibly mis matched pistons or head?

so i pulled a head off a motor ive had sitting in my shed for a number of years to sell a piston to a forum member, when i opened it up, i found it was a dished piston version which i wasnt expecting. so i checked the wiki, with the head number and the head number 68 does not seem to be listed. got some happy snaps, and was interested what people thought of it all? or if someone wants to buy it? ;)

ive got a 3tc in a ke70 (Well its a US TE72, 2 door sedan, but principal is the same) ie. it came from the factory with the 3tc in it where are you located? i could sell the whole setup...

so its rego'd :D its so f@$king slow its pathetic, but i still like driving it. its slower than my old 4k ke70, the auto just makes it feel dead, the auto wont change unless throttle is almost shut, got beaten off the lights by a grandma in a yaris not trying, :lolcry: car also doesnt like to start once hot, and when i was driving in the rain it was as if the lockout got water in it, and wouldnt recognise i was in park or neutral, just wouldnt turn over. changed its mind after 5 minutes but i try to not turn it off if i drive it somewhere haha but owell. not for long. gonna contact my engineer and see what capacity i can go up to, seeings as this starting weight is more than a ke70, not sure by howmuch though... not sure whether to stick with the 1g or not, just due to weight distribution, can always move it back, but its gonna be a big section of firewall to play with.. wanna get it together and just corner weigh, and estimate cage weight and what that will do. can't really build cage til motors in, or not the front section bracing the strut towers anyway. might get the rest done... dunno if i posted pics of the only way the car does 110? tehe :D
