ive seen a car fall off a scissor jack on grass, that was fairly special. the point raised about making sure the jack can roll forward is a very good one.

just do it. shake the car before you get under, if it doesnt fall off when you shake it, you will be fine, i would put the rear ones under the diff, one on each side inline with the springs and at the front either under the radiator support, engine crossmember if its wide enough, or chassis rails just behind engine bay is my usual spot, but i guess you could use jacking points, i just don't like them...

as kickn 5k said, ze pistons will be fine, and it was my belief it was about 70 a piece. read, hell cheap. there are blokes, lots of them, that make 200rwkw on standard internals...

on a weekday if you know where to drink thats still almost doable towe.

oh yeah f@$k yeah they did, and where the stairs are all falling to peices (the only bit thats on concrete) cause they formed the stairs and then let that set before trying to attach the pavers to the top of them, theyre all falling off, theyve used white silicon or something similar to try and glue them down. And evan, take iron mate, 2 iron tablets a day for more red blood cells and boosted immune system (i had 4 chest infections resulting from colds in the space of 9 months, each lasting about 6 weeks, and have since had 1 or 2 colds in about 2 years) 2 magnesium tablets for muscle recovery and nervous system health and a mens multi vitamin. and make sure whatever else you eat you ahve a banana and an apple each and every day and you will feel so good in a month.

too much, rare as hens teeth, and not worth are the answers you will get. get a wheel alignment and ask them why its so heavy, probably find the castor is wound out too far :) for reference, my stock ke70 i nearly got failed in my driving test for repeatedly palm steering it, and i can't comfortably palmsteer my missus 08 swift. so that should give you an idea of what it should feel like...of course its gonna be heavy when stationary, but even slow speeds should not be bad.

steering in a standard ke70 should be light as, whats been done to this one? you never drove my old car, i ended up stripping the splines and cracking the uni join where the steering shaft meets the rack :P

oh and ive worked 14 days straiaght as of tomorrow, 3 different jobs, and ill only get paid for 8 out of those 14 days until i finish the jobs, makes it really hard to get out of bed sunday morning to do a job you know you wont be back to for another week so will be atleast 2 weeks before i can put an invoice in for it. weee

ben, i think you accidently multiplied by 1000 there... wgmg, working tomorrow now, so that will be day 14, with a big week coming up doing a reno, and the people I'm doing this job for having a sook cause i lifted all their paving to get an excavator in to do a job, reason being it wasnt level so when he spun it ripped it up, maybe i should of left it and just broke all their pavers instead of pulling them all up and not billing them, even though it wasnt in my quote, and there was a clause saying i wasnt responsible for damage to the paving? can't please some people, if they wernt laid like shit to start with it would have been fine and if you had dug the holes for your 1200 high retaining wall 1200 deep instead of stopping at 500 when the clay stopped and you hit sandstone maybe i wouldnt be there at all? And you still wanna whinge even though i didnt hit you for extras digging the holes even though i jack hammered 75% of them and got them all to the depth they had to be. f@$k its hard to please some people.

theyre obviously not tuned the same as each other then. did you consider that?

checked compression? hows your timing? checked for vac lines or incorrectly functioning diaghrams? had the same issue with cyl 1 on my 3t when trying to get it rego'd. turned out theres 3 little vac lines that come off the runner for cyl 1 and i blocked them up and all was sweet, issue was most of the vac diaphrams were f@$ked and mixture was going out of wack and burning too late. had the car running with no exhaust mani so i could see what was going on, you could see the flame colour was different.

finding out one of the guys who fell off a balcony at riverfire was a guy i know, really great guy. we ran in different circles but one of the nicest most fun people id met, and regretting i hadnt seen him more...
