  4. no to jaycar :jamie: http://toymods.net/forums/showthread...l+tacho+signal that was a good start, gonna see if i can do this: http://www.toymods.net/forums/showth...cyl+6cyl+tacho if not, ill end up with this http://www.mindspring.com/~jayk3/toyota/tachmod.htm found those 3 on toymods...did i ever say i hate wires? :P
  5. NEXT PLEASE :jamie: best option so far is mimicking teddy's design of hiding a dicky tacho in behind stock location :P
  6. hey guys, well ive got the 1ggte into the ke70 rebuilt and running well now :P latest issue is, i want to keep the stock tacho, however its designed for a 4 cylinder engine, and I'm getting a 6 cylinder pulse from the mallory ignition system I'm wondering if anyone knows how to do this, or knows a product to convert it? i found one, but at 295 i could just pay someone to steal teddy's custom dash and gauges :jamie: i just thought that maybe i could reprint the tacho face thingo with the numbers 2/3rds further round, but i would run out of tacho around the 6000 mark then...not enough hehe so if anyone has any solutions or ideas I'm keen to hear them cheers, andrew
  7. those springs will be lower as they are a progrssive rate they allow for the car to sit lower in general, but on suspension travel they stay captive dunno if you got told but the gathered bit should be at the top if possible :jamie:
  8. why not buy the chrome ke70 bumpers?

  10. shouldnt be too bad, just pop her outta gear, blip the throttle to above hte revs you would be doin once in the gear you wanna go down to then hold it against the synchros and theyll slot in its interesting in mine going into second as the synchro is almost fubbared totally :(

  15. ech, the bikini comp...wobbly backsides with cellulite for the win :P I'm not complaining, i scored a free hat and lanyard while in the crowd haha was a great day and night even if i was a bit FREEZING and tired by the end lol :P
  16. only having to stop would be fun, but even then you can restart with it in first no worries clutchless gear changing is rather simple in a k50, just gotta match the revs anywho, shouldnt be too bad to fix the only trouble i had (don't know if this is the same on earlier models as mine was a ke70) but getting the bush back thru the bracket on the gearbox end of things can be an ass of a job... i used a little screw driver to gently encourage it through g/l mate :P
  17. maybe it has a big fat ford donk in it...
