  1. lookin good dude! if you decide you do wanna paint over the septone you can always just use a product called penetrol, which is itself a rust preventor. but lets you put paint on anything :P can i ask how you get the cage into the next car? :S

  4. never ganna learn if you don't try it. I'm rebuilding the 1g, and its an expensive jdm engine, with excessively expensive parts...and its my first one. just pay attention to what your doing, and talk to your head shop as you go, (you'll need a headshop for the skim, so they should help you out to a certain extent in giving you pointers) be brave, not rash and you'll get it done. but you have to consider how much money a poopie 4k is worth i sold my good engine for under 200 bucks i think it was, theyre worth SFA :(

I'm rebuilding my 1ggte including full balancing and including ridiculous jdm only model parts prices it should come out under a grand. don't talk to repco. they are the uber gheyness. get a gregories, it will guide you step by step through the process. and what damage is actually done to the motor?
  6. taken post butterfly. because this means that when you shut the throttle at high rpm, the vacuum advances the timing and burns the fuel coming thru which hasnt got alot of air mixed in with it so you do get uber cool flames and backfires out the exhaust :( i love having my vac advanced removed hehe hope i won something :D hhahahahahha

  9. what i was meaning was are they trying to get bogans in their fowlcoons etc in there. just thinking how ludicrously heavy your car has to be. but if its for 2001-3000 cc i think its crazy heavy. ke55 with the 4agze and tuugher diff but stripped interior would way all of what, 900 kg? and raceflo's ae86 with 3sgte and tuff as guts everything comes in under 800 kg. (yes its had alot of work done to get it this light) but all I'm tryna say is i think the restrictions are very "large car" friendly. how would you go about bumping up the ke55's weight to meet the restrictions?

  14. and you thought the 1g would be a boat anchor :thumbsup: 300 for ya ic piping is good, i paid 875 for 2.5" ic piping and 3" exhaust piping when i supplied cooler and muffler, cooler already mounted too. i always thought you had a high volume low pressure lifter pump to feed the surge tank, then you had a efi fuel pump after the surge tank. i think :( keep goin biggo, you may catch up with my stupid 1ggte in peices on the floor :D

  24. i think when "reduce size" was mentioned they meant go from 16 gauge to 8 gauge etc, as the smaller the number the bigger the wire
