  1. Maybe they meant they didn't have any in stock. But if I was going to get some again now id get pedders, cause they last longer without sagging.
  2. when I rang up repco they said king springs don't make a low spring and would have to be made for $200 (just for fronts at cost price) Also when I replaced my cut springs in my old st141 corona the cut springs where stiffer.
  3. a 2tgeu electronic dizzy will bolt onto a 3t so should be right.
  4. ah, yep had a total mind blank no idea why I said king springs. VH wagon rear shocks fit in KE20 so would be right in a ke55.
  5. the best you could probably get without custom is king springs and some VH?? commodore wagon rear short stroke shocks would make it stiffer cause there built to support a heavier load. King springs would be about $150 a pair? and no idea how much the shocks would be.
  6. I got my good year assurance (185/70R13) for $80 each (but that was trade price and I fitted and balanced them myself) did ke55's come out with 12" or 13"? I saw on the list for tyres we have at work cheap as tyres for like $55 otherwise I think kmart tyre and auto have 13" tyres for $59 fitted.
  7. might be able to get one from a dealership.
  8. working, overtime - I do nearly 50 hrs a week and still only just make $500, the joy of apprentice wages. rollaclub and when I have enough money I buy things for my car, currently saving to find my engine build. Also need to buy a new clutch - $240 exceedy heavy duty there goes the majority of my pay... but using works hoist makes it easy
  9. should of imported that starlet too, would be a very different car as we got none here in Australia.
  10. Pretty sure VH commodore wagon rear shocks fit in a sedan but not sure about panelvans.
  11. Yes I just didn't explain it properly. Off topic, Why is it starting to become like boostcrusing here you say one thing and people flame you.
  12. breather valve I meant if it was a different as in there was a big difference its too hard too explain.
  13. if the seals are the same it will work fine otherwise if it wont seal you'll have no oil pressure.
  14. thats cool we never got 2 door corollas like that here, only 4 door.
  15. also how wide are those wheels? ive seen them on the website but they don't show dish as well as yours does.
  16. No, please explain please..
  17. Ye, I bought a complete 2TG off here for $80. ive also read (will confirm later) that the wiseco 3tc forged pistons have fly-cuts already done to them. Ye I'm buying a complete 3tc as well of teddy one day this week ill probably ask him to bring it to work with him and ill just work on it there.
  18. ye there are a few couple of pages that people have made when they are building their own but none that state all the parts needed.
  19. what else do I need, I now have 2tg head 2tg timing bits 2tg dummy shaft to operate fuel pump and dizzy and ill be getting a 3tc block soon. ive read that if you use stock pistons you have to get them fly cut?, otherwise apparently wiseco forged pistons are OK to use without any mods.
  20. Ye I was only going to get them I couldn't find any genuine long champs I like them better. or if someone makes a good copy of them ill try to get them.
  21. I need the 2tg dummy cam to bock off the old oil holes it also drives the dizzy and fuel pump, or can I just rotate the stock cam to block them off?
  22. na ive already bought one, do you have the dummy cam from the 2tg engine?
  23. What do you mean by "uber charger"? and I can do the majority of the engine work myself (other than machining of the head and boring), and I get parts at trade price. and are you trying to say skids as well as it costing alot?? lol.
