  1. Well, Another day more rust discovered lol!
  2. Also here is a mates new daily i lowered for him a week or so ago. Not usually fond of the big bumper ones but this one aint so bad!
  3. Spent today replacing panels. I'm using bits off my green sedan for now and i'll replace them on the green one later on. Fact is the green one is way too far gone for me to repair right now and the wagon is less work.. After Gaps arent great but thats easier to fix than rust.... .. Speaking of, Constantly finding more..
  4. As requested, Interior... Going to need new door cards, seats etc.. Ignition needs to be rewired, needs fuses jammed back in it heater reconnected etc...
  5. I'll grab some during the week, taken a week off work end of the month to try and get a fair bit done before winter (no shed life) Interiors pretty much throw away for the most part.. It was used to transport gearboxes etc for majority of its life so its full of oil and grease, plan is to pressure wash it and go from there I was missing headlight surrounds and tail light chrome but thankfully someone on the rollaclub facebook page sorted me out!
  6. One sill stripped back, now sanded in primer. Probably worse than i was expecting lol roughly 2 dozen holes to weld up, could be worse though!
  7. I'm almost wondering whether it'd be easier to relocate battery, J pipe across to drivers side.. be easier for dump routing and cooler etc
  8. Thought I'd throw up a few more photos from the first day of owning it. Karchered the entire car, threw some Mazda 626 wheels on to roll it around and threw another bonnet on/ started fixing the front end And heres the motor situation, a bigport 3k. "Ran when parked" required new starter, dizzy was 1 tooth out and firing order was wrong. Now starts and runs fairly well
  9. I wouldn't say easily restorable, there's a lot you can't see in photos but it is fixable. Floors have a little rust in them, both sills have quite a few rust holes to tend with but the rear pockets behind both back wheels are just a mess and will need to be cut out completely up to the body line and then reformed.. I've got it running and driving now next step is fix rear brakes and disk swap the front. I'll be using my green sedan for donor panels to get this into paint faster
  10. So i got a message from guy that said "I have a 67 station wagon, Very rough".. After a quick call, with cash in hand i went and had a look... A 1st gen wagon has been something i've dreamed of since i can ever remember.. And the thought of one being so close to me for so long... I had to have it. It was rough... The car had sat in a long grass paddock since early 1990's.. And it showed. Every panel dented, rusted.. Hyper extended door, rat piss interior "Ran when parked"... I had to save it. I paid the man, Organised a truck and it arrived the next day. So, Here it is.. My 1967 Ke16!
  11. Yeah i'm still constantly battling issues from previous owners stupidity. From things flying off from no screws to wiring issues including the coil shorting out due to twisting and taping wires.. Slowly getting more and more reliable. As for the Mazda no idea what i'll do.. Don't even know if i'll keep it. It's been issue after issue and kind of over it now. I've sourced the engine issue. Jammed pressure relief plunger in the oil pump cover. Basically turning the motor into a rocket and firing the oil filter off everytime you start it.. New part on the way! Here's what it looks like now
  12. Thursday sounds like a go! I'll give you a call after work
  13. I'm keen for a test fit if you're around some time? Can probably just pump front guards a bit
  14. So after selling my Stagea i needed a new daily driver.. I bought a 1978 Mazda 323 Bugeye needing minimal work. Did a few mods, Blew it up and then needed another daily while i fix it.. So i bought this! 1.6 Manual converted. 151000ks. Full nugget spec with total neglect, Weldy choppies etc shitbox I had it for about 2 days before hating it so broke out the spanners. Doing plugs discovered 3 different kinds of plug and burnt out points. Wound timing back to an acceptable level while i was there. Removed the weldy in favor of a 4.11 open diff and added some fresh shoes and wheel cylinders. While i was there i added an AJPS adjustable panhard bar i got cheap 2nd hand and some ke38 monroe gas shocks which hold the rear springs in perfectly captive with 3 coils off. The car had shifting issues since the day i got it. Discovered the mastercylinder had been drilled out to 12mm.. Machined up a sleeve to drop it back to 5.5mm and everything was fine. While inside i had to add 32 screws back into the dash that were missing after the heater core has been removed.. Had the car wheel aligned which revealed 12mm of toe out on one side.. After all of this car has been driving really nice. But still looked like a pile... Treated it to a cut and polish and full detail. Added a passenger mirror and painted front and rear bars and grill will bumper paint. Hotwires had to go so replaced them with a set of 13" Advan a3a's i had laying around home destined for the ke10 and took another 1/2 coil out of the front to even up the VN stance. Result is a rather tidy reliable Daily. Future plans are not a real lot.. I may tint it, throw some spacers on the front.. Just trying to leave it standard for once haha.
  15. He's pulled me over before but never got me for anything luckily. Steve Caplice is the guy to talk to down here
  16. That sucks dude! Biker cop? Reshell time ;) Much less work haha
  17. I've had quite a few Toyota gearboxes with stuffed fill plugs. I just always fill through shifter now
  18. Best option is to get yours rebuilt.. That way everything fits. A lot of people always say stuff fits.. Doesnt mean it does. Also wouldn't be direct fit.
  19. Owned this for around 9 months now. I sold my Celica sold my Hilux and decided i still needed something to haul car parts. I've wanted one for years and decided to finally get one. Buying a non Toyota still seems weird.. I bought it unrego-d, and needing a lot of work. Best daily i've ever owned. Sticks with wrx's through corners, Picks up 4 mates from the pub and chucks good heli's. Made 204atw on 8psi with no fmic and failing fuel pump. Currently waiting for my new front bar and eyelids to be sprayed. Once something engine wise breaks. I'll throw on a t04z, Ecu and tune it to 350kw. 22. Simon became a stance kid
  23. We’re all eskimo brothers of a car haha
