  1. Yeah fairly sure if it's same as te72 it'll be welded up underneath like where the balljoint nut sits, Pain in the ass to remove Better off chopping it off part the way up the strut tube, chamfering both bits you're going to weld and spatter it together. Either that or look into spindle-less bc's. Sick quality for $600 a pair and you can just chop the spindle and 60mm off strut tube off, Press it in and weld it. I did that with my celica and 24 months later still perfect after a fair bit of abuse
  2. RadRollaz/ Anyone else know what the name of this colour is? Never seen it on a Corolla before
  3. Here's the last photo before sold
  4. As much as I don't want to this thing is sold. Mate paid me for it to strip it for parts for his sedan and crush it. Bit sad but its not a great loss.. Shell probably would never have seen the road again with all the sill rust and rail rust.. I bought a hilux so didn't really need this anymore. Not done with Corollas though! I'll update my ke10 thread when I get back into shortly, But finishing my 300kw Celica and Crown come first Cheers!
  5. Yeah just strip the hilux leafs and add one to the corolla pack to stiffen it
  6. Have to go to t50
  7. Shittest bloke
  8. Also you can't get rear camber.. none.. ever. Not without custom fabricating the entire rear end to accept IRS out of another car.
  9. Swap to ke70 struts and springs you can max out the camber tops as they have fair bit smaller spring diameter S13 cambertops also fit with some minor hole filing and can be considerable cheaper second hand than t3
  10. Do a google for "ke70 15x8 0" and you'll get an idea of how they sit
  11. 15x8 isnt as much work but it depends on the offset and how low you want your car? You should get away with a minor roll of the guards and a 195 width tyre. A ke70 I bought had 15x10s on it all round. It was so shit. Looked like a toad and did not turn at all.. Swapped 14x8s on when I got home and it was much improved. 10s looked crap and drove even worse
  12. R31 track sucks on a ke70. So would need shortening thus making it more expensive.. Also r31 diffs arent much smaller or lighter than hilux so point is fairly null. Only advantage it has is 4 stud. T18 Diff is the go, Just goes straight in. Friends ke70 had one behind a 200kw sr20de+t with lots of abuse for a year and still hadn't broken when he sold it.
  13. The inner guards are missing and are just expanda foam haha, Parts of the floorpan are rusted right through as well, Lots of chop and weld to go
  14. Not without modifying ke70 rails to fit. Ke20 seats are crap compared to ke70 in terms of shape / comfort and ability to go around a corner without falling out
  15. Have a google at "4 link" suspension and you'll see the issue. The ta60 is 4 link, whats known as "live axle" as opposed to your car which is Leaf spring.. There is a big difference. That diff will not bolt in as is, The logical thing to do would be to weld the ke35 leaf mounts onto the ta60 diff and bolt it in Its much harder to convert the ke35 to 4 link and would be quite costly unless you are a fabricator and can do it yourself
  16. You stuck a multimeter on the battery when it's running to see how many Volts it's producing?
  17. So now that the wagon runs / drives / skids i thought i'd start and tidy the body up a bit It's pretty haggard and a bit worse than i originally thought.. After replacing most of the drivers side roof seam, The fuel flap area was just all bog, As are rear arches, and inside the tailgate.. Both rear windows need to come out to fix rust, and have already cut out and repaired sections inside door jams as well.. Haven't even started on passenger side or front end/ bonnet yet.. Here's a couple of photo's of its state. Just cutting rear guards off to weld in Celica's at the moment Will post more once repaired!
  18. Join photobucket dude and upload them all there. Then you get a link to the picture and post it to here it'll link! ^ If you need help send me a PM. Always keen to see more build threads Coming along well Matt!
  19. That would be the first thing I'd check.. See if the line has any cracks or splits in that could cause a leak too
  20. Yeah just put another muffler in it
  21. "T50" 5 speed from a manual ae71 or ae86
  22. Yeah they would be. Ke55 came in both round and square headlight models depending on the year
  23. I might have missed it but what diff centre are you running? Supra LSD or Tru-Track or something?
  24. Hey stu, I found that jailbar ke10 grill here we talked about ages ago, if you were still thinking of making the switch chuck me a text!
  25. You can use ke70 factory bolts or if you buy some from nubco in say like 10x1.5 or 10x1.75 then just use the tap that matches You can buy bolts in different threads
