  1. As listed in my walkthrough posted above 10x1.25 is factory ke70 You can tap to 10mm thread size and use bolts that thread
  2. Sounds like $1500 to me.. Painted or not disassembled cars are not worth a fraction of normal price. Especially as bits are apparently missing
  3. Yo Matt, instead of using shitty paint stripper head to bunnings and pick up a 'Strip it disk' for a grinder. Basically looks like a round kitchen sponge. Strips paint in seconds and leaves the panel dead smooth and doesn't heat it up if you don't push hard.. I did my entire celica with one and couldn't be happier. Was like $13

  6. Really no need for R31 diff with a 4k/ 5k. I'd suggest looking into T series, Won't need shortening like r31
  7. Yeah Celica t50's are hydraulic, Different spline than ae86 t50 though from memory
  8. Yeah i had been contemplating that.. But that price is still too much for me to be interested.. Tail-lights don't look much chop, Factory diff isn't much use to me and hatch has had numerous latches riveted on.. I'm going Celica rear arches as well so i think i'll be sorted, Cheers though! Also turns out you were right, one of those alternators does have that different plug, Chris had it with the 7k stuff. Still dropping the shocks off tomorrow? I think i'll just use them for reference then put my Magna excel G's in
  9. Glad you didn't sell mang! And ken, I had a ke10 which was ke10-32xxx, Early as and had all early features but late dash! Thinking it might be the difference between aus and jap built cars maybe?
  10. It runs! Seems healthy besides a leaky front oil seal. Ke55 fan cleared the a/c pulled by 1/2" or so. Now just need to replace front main seal, mount a/c pump, few vac lines and figure out alternator wiring (Has a black 2 pin plug that doesn't match e70 alternator). Got stuck into a little bodywork.. Car is quite very rusted. Most of both gutters are rusted, around both rear windows have holes, rust in hatch, hatch floor has 3 fair sized rust holes, fuel door is rusted out as is passenger rear sill and both rear guards are toast.. I'll upload some of the repair pictures shortly!
  11. That's a breather not vacuum, It connects to a hose on the airfilter housing, or get a little mini filter for it
  12. If thats the case take the original wheel and the boss kit that wont fit to a machine shop and have them figure out and machine the boss kit.. Easier than swapping columns
  13. My brothers ke15 has the same issue.. A wheel that fits my ke10 will not fit his, nor will most of the toyota boss kits I have here.. weird
  14. Corona has a Borgwarner box not the toyota W55/7/8, Celica has 2s but w55 gearbox, But sumps are same between Corona and Celica

  16. What front brakes do you have? Could be rear wheel cylinders
  17. Does your ke55 have rounf headlights? If so yes, it will Beware freight isnt cheap on those grills, I got a quote of like $104

  19. Yeah i know about the water pumps, I have a semi complete ke70 4k with water pump and fan assembly on it i can swap over if need be Do you know if the wiring was altered for 7k alternator at all?
  20. Got the one off the 7k but this one's stubborn. Got a puller here too just gotta get around to taking it to Chris's to do it. I reckon i'll have to change to ke70 viscous fan to clear the pulley, For some reason this ke70 motor has the 55 fan.. 110000k's though and was free so no complaints
  21. Dropped a 4k in for rego, All hooked up ready to set timing and crank. Couldn't get pulley off as yet to get the a/c working, and the wiring in the car for alternator is not standard 4k so need to sus that out
  22. Hey all, I need to order some shank nuts for my camber tops to suit my shocks (which aren't here yet..) Is any one able to tell me what the threaded part of the front shock insert for ke70 insert is? For example M14x1.25? Cheers

You won't be able to get the "Stance" you want with 15" wheels, They're too big to go that low Switch your idea to 13's or 14's and it'll be much easier I'm not sure exactly on size/ offset you'll need but don't forget to factor in spacer/ adaptor width into the offset you choose I'd start at 8" wide and 0 offset or close to it as a test fit if you can and go from there, I reckon that'd be pretty much flush with the flares with the adaptors. Te27's need unmoulded flares, that wouldn't suit the vintage of the car imo, but your car! Goodluck with it
