  1. Yup, Si's old 7k 4x4 project. Bought as a rolling shell needing a fair amount of work. This weekend dropped in a 4k and got it 90% ready to go, Now just need to fit radiator and alternator and then set the timing etc I'll upload some photo's during the week, Next up will be cutting the rear guards out

  6. I thought i was over Corolla's for a while.. Apparently not! Basically bought it to quickly tidy it up and make a half practical daily.. My lowdown Celica and Crown are far from ideal.. So here it is! My Ke38 Body is a bit rough, Fair few rust patches and a few dents will need the porta power but pretty happy with it. Plan is to weld in Celica rear guards as the rear arches are fubar, Weld up the rust, Drop in a motor and rego it I'll do some more to it than that but those are the initial plans. Also 10 points if you can recognise the car

  10. Finished putting one in a friends ke70, I'd say it's not worth going past 5.. They just don't rev, Ours doesn't really do anything but flatline after 5k
  11. Hey all just a quick question, Anyone know if ke30/55 and ke70 steering arm bolt spacing is the same? Wanting to know if i can run ke70 struts on ke30 steering arms Cheers

  13. Hey all, I've never had too much to do with auto's in Corollas but I assumed they'd be borgwarner like Celica etc.. Yesterday I picked up a 4k from a ke70 that had this trans on the back. When unbolting I discovered a GMH build plate. Is this just standard gearbox?
  14. That wont work.. The centre of the strut top fits tightly in the hole of the strut tower.. There's no physical way it can move You can however with ke20's re-drill the lca's mount holes in the crossmember further out by atleast 20mm This won't work either unless you change to cambertops.. You'll get like 1/4 of a degree before the springs hit the side of the engine bay
  15. The thing you can do, and i have done.. Is to just press a tube over the KE strut first before pressing it into the BC strut.. You just need to buy tubing with KE 48mm inside dia and 51/52mm ext dia (I forget exact sizing now) And weld together before pressing into BC coilovers and welding. Have personally done and are still working.. I'd go T18 over xt130, More common too i reckon.. But whatever you can find
  16. Don't use them. Theyre stupid idea.. Get RCA's by all means but NRCA's are just stupid. Get ke20 or sigma lca's which are longer and have the same effect without being dodgy
  17. Should be te25/ te27 I'd imagine. Pop bonnet and look on the firewall should show the chassis code and number
  18. After a ke30 full chrome front bar in good condition if anyone has one?
  19. You're a muppet if you think a 165 will look good and be safe on an 8" wheel. Especially with such a low sidewall.. one pothole and youll be straight into the rail. 195/50 is perfect on a 8" wheel and still stretched a little but safe.
  20. That is a normal pano front bar, not sure whats up with the end caps.. Pano front is basically s1 t18, Friend had one that was purchased with no front bar so we put a t18 s1 front bar on, So much nicer
  21. If we're talking "Cool/ Rare" Then diesel front is deffs the go! But yeah quads are super ghey, Panelvan front is much better, Fit an S1 T18 front bumper and it changes the look for the better as well

  23. Found 2 final photo's from a while ago when it was first bought Car had some goodies, Had Monroe shocks in it, Drop shackles and if you look close an aftermarket rear swaybar kit! Not bad for a free car Really was sad cutting it up and scrapping it and feel a bit bad about it but it was way past gone.. The parts off this will help both my Ke10 and my brothers Ke15 sprinter get finished. I'll update that thread when it's out of hibernation!
  24. For the bootlid you mean Ken? There were no washers/ spacers at all for the door hinges
  25. Its a ke11 which have parkers and indicators in the one light like a ke20. Thats one of the different between early and late ke1x's.
