  1. Give us a yell if you need a hand dude. Only 2 minutes away these days!
  2. Hey guys, I've had a lot of people (From here and just mates) ask where is my green Corolla, Why i haven't finished it, and wondered why i haven't been on rollaclub. Well, This is why... I've wanted one for as long as i can remember. I bought it in very poor non running/ rego condition 2 years ago. Since then the car has had the entire electrics gone through, All the large dents and miss alignments fixed, All mechanical components have had a once over and been upgraded or replaced. Car is a 1972 Crown, MS65. Body remains factory with just a few small subtle mods, and keeping the original patina'd paint. Interior is also mostly returned to stock besides a hidden sound system and gold mooneyes flake wheel. Car is lowered and has GT GAS alround on 15x8 and 9 US Steel Wheel Co Steelies with Spyder caps and painted walls. At the moment the plan is to just enjoy it finally being rego'd and driving.. Future plans include Matte Clearing the original paint, Replacing the motor and box with something faster, and air ride. I want this car to sit around 3" lower when parked than it does. BUT... Now this car is done and moving, It answers the question of what i've been doing.. So now, Within the coming months i'll be getting my KE10 from my mates house, Stripping it to a bare metal shell, And finishing what i started years in the past.
  3. Mate in Tasmania had a 3RZ ke70 with 20v ITB's and Stainless headers. Not possible to make it legal, But it was cool and still street driven
  4. You'll find it'll be much better to weld from behind the guard. Keeps the grinding and bodywork way down
  5. Can have the measurement for you tomorrow
  6. Do you mean the whole unit with indicator lever? I have a 67 one at home I'll measure
  7. So are you needing a ke10 wheel? I've got one in tas I could maybe post up, never had that issue though
  8. I have seen this done, but never once seen it be successful. Mono leaf is shit. If you just want it stiffer/ less roll upgrade swaybar, add a Hilux leaf to the packs or have them reset, and fit stiffer shocks.. No need to go overkill
  9. Wow that's some pigeon shit welding on those headers haha
  10. It's only once a month which is a lame but still, Then there's the Dirt Every Day and HotRod Garage playlists too! That and Fast N Loud seem to occupy all of my screen watching these days. Both are far more interesting
  11. Ever since i discovered 'Roadkill' on youtube i haven't bothered with TopGear.. All of their episodes are basically like Challenge episodes. But better
  12. Getting better!
  13. How many K's have you done? They take a while to wear in.. Took about 1500k's in my Celica for them to settle and calm down. Just turn the radio for a couple of weeks
  14. What size exhaust are you running?
  15. It's not about the leafs. It's the fact the bodies are weak as hell. They don't have a proper chassis under them. And even running suspension that's too stiff distorts the shell
  16. Be more useless than a Proton jumbuck.. For a carton and a half in the "tray" before she snaps in half
  17. Any updates on this? Love the no ʞ©$ɟs given style of cars in California. Seems you can get away with pretty much anything! Can't believe the roadkill guys drive what they do and don't even get looked at.
  18. Congrats dude! Looks awesome
  19. Really not hard to make tabs to hold it in a factory way, few bits of flat bar used correctly will be fine
  20. Ke20 goes straight in. Ke70s pretty easy. I've used rx7 before. Just measure your radiator and search aluminium radiator on eBay. Most have size listings and you can find one out of something else. Most are sub $150 landed too. Such as s15
  21. Ke20 Lca's. They're 10-15mm longer than ke30.
  22. If anyones just after a cheap one i'd recommend supercheaps 2.5t one. I've had one for a while and can't fault it. Also had over 3T on it and never worried it. they're $199 but on Sale only $99 which is cheap as. Not the lowest (128mm), But it's also not hard to drive onto a bit of timber..
  23. Hard to tell as it only lists duration. It states the cam is from BDracing. I'd contact them and see if they're able to tell you if your standard engine can support the cam, As the owner may not know.
  24. Incorrect. k40 and k50 actually have different ratio's. It's in the FAQ as well.
  25. There really is no need to go ke30 crossmember. It's too wide and has zero advantage over the ke20/25 crossmember.. Just use standard crossmember and Lca's, Ke70 rack with rack ends shortened and that's all you'll really need to do. Rack position can fix bump steer as can rca's. You more need to be aware of its position in or out and its potential effect on binding.
