  1. Removing the front swaybar just reduces rear grip. Doesn't really have any effect on steering or handling so much.. I'm not a fan though to be honest, yeah the back slides easier but it feels so unsorted and loose
  2. There's been a couple on Gumtree time to time
  3. Get it done Michael. Urban disturbance is needed! Let's hope your hang ring doesn't get stolen haha
  4. To which part? I'm not sure if you'd notice a difference with the swaybar gone on gravel/ mud. Longer lca's for sure, castor maxed out, and depending on how far you want to go cut and shut steering arms will provide more lock and faster steering. Also toe greatly dictates how the car drives, so by adjusting the toe you can make the rear come out easier
  5. Don't bother with the T3 steering arms dude.. I got my proper ae86 p/s arms off ebay for less, and there's still some on there. Ebay US Camber isn't necessary, But it feels much more sorted to drive, You can set it to -1 and you should notice a difference without too much tire wear
  6. How can an open diff be more fun? You have to work harder.. As it's gravel you can do mad clutch dumps without as much mechanical strife, less load.. Also i doubt you'd break the stock diff on gravel either
  7. I can't see how you can put up with it chopped at the firewall! Mine's at the firewall from extractors and it's rediculous. I'd have chopped at diff But yeah weldy for sure! Will make a big difference, and you don't get as much of the negative effects like tramp etc on gravel
  8. We obviously have different definitions of words. It hardly "fits perfectly" when you have to cut out the firewall.. It fits yes, but that isn't perfect. Perfect would be without chassis/ body modifications. 2; 7k's aren't 30 years old for the most part, just an fyi.. 3; Because for a 650kg car, the beams IS heavy compared to a K motor the car was designed for. You 2 have practically redesigned the entire front end of the car to give it a chance of handling. I've said to you before what i think of "300kw beams in ke10" idea, and i stick by it. At the end of the day it's your car, and props for doing something different, but i wouldn't be encouraging other people to do it without first directing them to one of the two threads so they can see what actually has to be done.
  9. So are STD's.. Doesn't mean they're a good thing
  10. Pretty sure it's longer than an SR? And an Sr won't drop into a ke10 either
  11. Lol what is everyones obsession with trying to put engines that are clearly too big in these things? You won't have to worry about lifting the front wheels when you launch atleast.. Just the back ones when you stop.
  12. Meh some Fck head P plater will just jdm the shit out them one day and slap a dirty ass rb30 in it something..
  13. Yep i got how you were doing it. Sorry was looking at it the wrong way. That clutch lever looks to be on the right side of the column though?
  14. Crank this, I give him 35 seconds before he loses the will to live.
  15. Couldn't you just bend that brake lever?
  16. I don't know whether you other ke10 owners have this issue but my floor mounted accelerator is fcking annoying. It's restrictive and you have no pedal feel. So i decided to fix this. Bought a ke70 pedal off my mate, and of course it wouldn't fit. So i chopped it in half and ground off the pin. I then ground the lower half of the ke10 pedal off, and bent the ke70 lower until it sat exactly where i wanted it, same height as the other pedals, and making sure it wouldn't hit the floor before full throttle. So i then welded it together. Haven't had a chance to put it back in the car yet as i need to remove the drivers side of the carpet to un-do the 2 bolts to take the floor mount pedal off and it's raining. But you get the idea. Should be sweet!
  17. Most sarcastic thread award goes to.. Ahaha.
  18. 15's are okay when you don't go low.. 14's are the proper fit i agree, But they don't fill the guards unless you go low, and going low can mean defect.. So IMO when that happens 15's are better than 14's with a huge sidewall to fill
  19. If you're referring to the wagon I reckon they're 16's?
  20. Lol why does everyone want that car?
  21. When the ke1x club have a meet up, Even australia wide, the ratio of white to every other colour will be 1000:1 haha
  22. I'm pretty sure it does, Like offset
  23. I'll check mine tomorrow if nobody answers before then but i'm pretty sure it's a 10-220
