Trev Posted September 5, 2007 Author Report Posted September 5, 2007 They look Sweet, Mate. can't believe it was available!! I know and i still can't believe that i got AEJ86 for the missus with all the JDM 86's around: P.S. Anyone with an AE82 seca that wants to get personalised plates, I insist that you get the US style rear as they fit alot better and the holes do not have to be drilled in the plate.
Trev Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Posted September 19, 2007 Finally got my HKS package in the mail today, 2 months is along time but the prices are cheap.
Trev Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Posted September 19, 2007 Purple ? Sexually deprived. :) Umm no, Kids to prove that one :D I actually thought they were more of a blue but I'm colorblind so that sez alot.
Trev Posted December 23, 2007 Author Report Posted December 23, 2007 Long time since i had an update but parts take a while to get at times when they are brand new non australian items, I had word back from R&T that my water outlets (top and bottom) will be here around the 7th of Jan, Its been a long wait but now all i gotta get is the front to back cooling pipe which i have available but just gotta pay for it, The total all up including the cooling system components, rwd pulley's and the pipe not already paid for comes to $800.
Jono Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 $800 is that to replace FWD cooling system to RWD system using genuine parts?
Trev Posted December 23, 2007 Author Report Posted December 23, 2007 $800 is that to replace FWD cooling system to RWD system using genuine parts? Yeah, The only thing second hand part i will be using is the top outlet to thermostat housing x-over pipe from the 4A-C, All that is left is the hoses.
Jono Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 out of interest, what made you take this route? ( i.e. changing to rwd bits) i kept it all fwd (alternator, water pump etc), cut a few pipes and remote mounted an ae82 thermostat to get my smallport working in my ke20. seemed to cost next to nothing and works fine.

Just wanted to make it a proper rwd setup and i forgot to mention that i still need to get a rwd harmonic balancer, The turbo coolant lines are going to fed from the heater in and out, The panelvan is still going to be using the fwd setup, I did have a pic of how it was setup but i dunno where i put it.
Trev Posted January 11, 2008 Author Report Posted January 11, 2008 I wnet and picked up my other cooling system parts before, They were a bit dearer than was expected but shit happens. This is what $170 looks like: Outlet on pump housing:
Medicine_Man Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Nice, You should make a list off all the part #'s and put pictures of them with prices for the FAQ..

Yeah no worries i will do, I got them outlets alot cheaper than the retail tho but i dunno how cheap it would be from toyota direct, So far including the rwd pulley's the price is well over the $800 mark for the cooling and charging system.
