Came out this morning to find this had happened to the old girl

 

 

Thats the first and last time I park on the grass.

 

They threw a rather large metal ornimate that was in our front yard, straight thru.

 

Don't know what else to say.....

Dude that really sucks. Did you hear it when it happend/gave chase??

 

It really sucks when kids target cars. f@$king school holidays!! GRR

 

Was there any damage to the actual car??

This might sound stupid, but be thankful it was a windscreen (biggest piece of glass) not a rear quarter window (smallest piece of glass) as it'l probably be cheaper!! Provided you can get a second hand windscreen. :)

Didn't hear a thing, which is weird, cause from what we can work out it happened during the first miutes of daylight, so someone must have heard it.

 

No panal damage thank god! This was the only damage to metal, and as you can see it was lucky it didn't take out the other window, and/or land on the dash/console/stereo.

 

 

I know its only minor, but its such a pain in the arse!

I've never understood random acts of vandalism... I just can't comprehend what must be going through the mind of a vandal.

 

But, have faith in Karma.... all of their children will be born with small dicks.

Oh my god, people are so gay sometimes. Anyone nearby have the screen for our friend? Was it totally random, or did you park in a bit of a dodgy new spot?

man, that sucks! however, if you've got comprehensive insurance, check your policy, some offer one free windscreen per year, no excess and it doesn't affect your rating....

It wasn't really a dodgy spot, it was my front nature strip. Had to park there as our room mate took the drive. So from now on it'l be behind the gate!

 

Looking into insurance, hopefully it'll cover it.

my mate has also had his car smashed a bit. they apparantly wanted the stereo, but i don't think they ended up taking it, as it was a cheapo one. something around $450 for glass.
