There's a green 2 door KE30 sedan on centre rd for sale I think as it wasn't on the yard, it was still on the car park. On a side note, that I found was interesting, there's a Mazda 626 (?) wagon near the entrance with a "supercharger" sticker on the driver's door. Never seen one before..

There's a bit of surface rust under the left headlights, where the previous owner used to have a headlight protector. And some paints bubbling up under the rear right hand fender. Other than that there's no more rust. Very happy :) Update: Got myself a very good condition dash cluster, and also the original AM/FM radio. Replaced the crappy dash cluster, took off the cd player, and then put the original radio back and the new dash cluster. Looks MUCH neater and better!! Pics : Next thing on my list is to get a new stereo system installed, anyone know where's the good position to put some speakers on the back? there's a a pair of stock speaker in the front, but I'd wanna add more speakers on the back, of course I wanna still keep it as original as possible. Haven't post here in a while, but here goes.. Hi guys and girls, just wanna show my latest purchase. 1984 AE71 Wagon, with stock 4ac+5 speed manual. Stock interior except for the CD player on the dash. Stock suspension. Stock everything really :P. I'll let the pics do the talking. Future plans are to replace the cd player with stock am/fm radio on the dash, put a decent audio system, lower it a bit, some sort of old-skool mags, and maybe 4ag conversion later on. Enjoy!

it wasn't too bad for a 1st episode. the desert time trial was entertaining i think! hopefully it will get better and better! so how does the circuit look like? looks really small to me. and lol @ the stretch hummer!

hi guys, just wondering if anyone has been to brakes plus in preston? i got a quote of replacing the rear brake pads (drum brakes) on my ae92 starting from $89, it would be "composite" level, whereas the higher level which is "premium" is $129. what do you guys think? is that a decent price? or any other place i should go? i'm located in reservoir. and no, i'm not sure on changing the brake pads myself as i just don't have enough confidence to do it lol i just wanna leave the braking system to the pro :D . cheers, deri.

yup, my 1990 seca cs-x (no mods) also does this in the morning. but then i figured if i step on the gas pedal for 2-3 times before starting the engine, it would just starts first time with the rpm being in 1,5k-2k (auto choke maybe?)

the car was FOUND this afternoon around 5pm, it was found not too far from where it went missing (was lost in bell station but then found in bruce st. off high st. maybe around 500m away) by my parents who were out to buy something. funny thing was the stolen car was just parked 2 cars next to where my parents parked my rolla. :) been checking the car and it seems there's no damages to the car, nothing missing except for this ciggie lighter from the dashboard. only broken thing is the ingnition barrel (?) i don't know what to call it in english lol, it's the thing that we put the key to start the engine. just called racv hopefully they can replace that thing soon. anyways lesson learnt: get insurance, get alarm+immoboliser, re-check doorlocks before leaving the car, get a steering wheel lock :( thanks for everyone! deri.

hey guys, please keep an eye on the road as my mum's 1987 toyota camry sedan has been stolen this afternoon from Bell train station car park in platform 1 side. it happened earlier today (monday the 3rd of march 2008) around 12.00pm-19.00pm. the color is red, a bit fading on the roof and the bonnet. the rego is OVR-037. pretty much looks the same as any other camry sedan out there, it is the basic trim (hasn't got tacho on the dash, no alloy wheels), has got white hubcaps on all 4 tyres, also got 20%-ish tinted window all around except the front windscreen. is has a grey and black seat cover over the original seats (front seats got this "sport" writing on the back rest). has got auto transmission. i'll upload pics as soon as i can but like i said before, it looks like any other camry sedans out there. i just got back from the police station and hopefully they got some good news as soon as possible. please keep an eye out, any info would be greatly appreciated. (the car got no alarm or security system installed, and NO, the car is not insured :wink: ) thanks! deri. F****N CAR THEFTS!!!!
