Saw a nice diff on this forum the other day but it's been locked, what would be needed to do in order for it to no longer be locked and therefore legal again?

if its been welded you will need a completly new/unlocked second hand centre and swap it over.

yes you need another centre, or just source a complete diff and put that in, and keep the locker for when you want to stuff around

locked = illegal = no insurance.

unlocked = new centre = legal = insured

What sort of diff is it?

it's a shortened 10 bolt commo diff to suit ke20/ke25.

a centre for them is cheap as just go get another one

if its the 10 bolt that was advertised late lsat week then its actaully from an old holden ie HQ - HZ. there are lsd and open centres available in every ratio if you wanted to change it.
