So I drove Tabs home to my sisters house last week, the tail shaft was rattling a fair bit. The bonnet was bouncing too as the latch broke. I had zip tied it down just in case it flew up. I thought the zip tie had broken on the drive home as it was rattling heaps, but it haddn't, so I just tightened it. Worked great. I started her today, still starts after a week.

I also may have tracked down the passenger side seat adjuster.

Lastly I've tracked down a rubber kit for $500 that I might buy soon.

Oh and and look what fell out from somewhere under the dash while driving...

Came close to telling my parents about this car tonight. They were no more than 15m away from it. But I decided not to to spare myself a lecture about "When" the shed will be built.

Hahaha. Don't worry Jon, my missus only recently got told about my Wagon (but still hasn't seen it coz of the other car in that shed that she doesn't know about) and won't know about my 25 for a while.....

She doesn't appreciate my Rolla's, so why does she need to know about them hey....

Here is another Quick Fix that I'm doing to help me get her on the road.

Since the carpet was cut out just in the foot wells, I've bought another set of these Michelin mats. I've had a set just like these for about 5 years now and they are currently in my KE30. Hopefully they will cover all of the non carpeted spots until I get the chance to buy new carpet.
