I found a rusted double sided screw driver in the boot too. Its now in that tool kit. Most of the tools are rusty. I assume the boot leaks, or it might be that the rubbers have perished like the window and door rubbers.

HAHAHAHAH your KE25 seat adjusters look good in my KE15 :D (well I left it with trevs mate so I must collect it one day.....)

As for the car do carpet first. My KE15 has that molded carpet you can get off ebay/jackson foam and vinyl in Ipswich. TOP SHIT that is fits great so go there for the KE25. Oh go shag pile to.

Also that tool kit when I looked Jip some of the tools were perishing. The handles were split etc like the old plastic does. So Id update it.

But all in all neat polish it up nicely and drive it I say. Id just run the 4K but get a 3K head on it just to bump up compression.

As for stereo. Stacker in boot 6inch speakers in rear and the head unit mount under the dash. Don't cut up the dash at all. As if it is ever removed the dash is fooked. Also don't cut the console for a tacho not worth it. Mount it else where.

So when I said I was doing to detail the car, I wasn't lying. Here is the steering wheel. Now the bottom right I have cleaned all the goo off and armor alled it.

I stopped by the wreckers beforehand and picked up some parts off the other KE25 that was there.

Can anyone tell me if the mirror I have on my 25 is original or if this one that I pulled off today is original?? Or could it be that they changed mirrors models or one of the cars has had a mirror change in the past 30+ years. Note** The pic that shows the other mirror is in the first post of this thread.

Lastly, I grabbed this as mine is missing the little switch. I have the clear cover, but no switch.
