TOMMYS Ke 11 Posted January 16, 2012 Author Report Posted January 16, 2012 Hi there all havent been on for a while so i thought id bring you up to date.We ran the new motor in on the dyno friday night and it made just over 100rwhp but got valve bounce at 6thou revs :bash: and not got good cylinder comp >| so have pulled head of and going for more comp around 11-1 and heaver valve springs, our engine builder feels that there is still a lot more power to chase possibly another 10-15 rwhp which will be real nice.Drove the little rolla home on friday night and it was quite a toey little drive   .I have sent the front coil springs back to Otomoto to change them from 6kg rating back to 4kg as it was still sitting way to high in the front end and way to stiff so thats about it for now until we get it back together. Thomas is looking at personalized number plates and likes VERSN-3 what you think :y: :n:.And another big thanks to Stu kickn5k for all your information and the genuine toyota 5k head gasket as i have said befor its member like you that make this forum work so well,so thanks again and we will be intouch. Yours:- Stuart. By the way have you had a look at our sheds :rocknroll: :rocknroll: :rocknroll: Quote
CanadianKE17 Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Looks great! Happy to see it looking good again after the fire. My buddy lit his r100 on fire last year and he still hasn't got around to fixing it :/. I agree on putting the front spring rate back to 4kg, since you have a good sway bar on there. I'm running a heavier motor/trans (3TC) in my ke10 and I run 6kg on the track, and 4.5kg on the street, with a 17mm sway bar. Quote

TOMMYS Ke 11 Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 Hey guys have been very slack on the updates since getting the little rolla back on the road.... had a fair few issues on the dyno but got her all sorted and is running very well now we got 100rwhp so its a lot of fun to drive and gets me to uni and back quiet comfortable still havent given a shout out on here to me old man yet which he greatly deserves because without him it would not be back on the road better then ever so BIG thanks to Dad for all of his time and hard work!!!!! also a big thanks to stu (kickn5k) for all of his knowledge and advice anytime me old man got stuck... Dad was pretty stoked today because he finally got the hoist working in the shed and I had him put it to use straight away installing my new sway bar :) Quote
