The other guy with the weird facial hair going on scares me... The young bloke i can get used too, he seems more relaxed at what he does, though the bush bash on the 3rd ep looked fun!!! A very irritating little douche cutting skids in a merc A thoroughly unremarkable man plodding around in a soft roader I had my hopes up for the 'wrecking yard challenge'... but what did they do? an 1/8 Mile drag and a few laps on the dirt. Like f@$kin' hell I do that every second weekend... I'm sure some other stuff happened but I've forgotten already. Thats how good it wasn't. One guy i was working with got hold of one for the costly price of a six pack and a battery. Drove it up the beach (Noosa's North Shore). Flogged the arse out of it trying to kill it. KEhendo Posted November 11, 2008 Report Share Posted November 11, 2008 to be honest, i don't think it's getting any better. i was hoping it would be like the uk one where the first few episodes would be crap then it would just work out all the kinks but i don't think this is going to happen with the current presenters. i think it's charlie cox (the older one) that needs to be axed. he is trying to be the 'typical bloke' by getting all defensive about the petrol cars. that kind of thinking just won't cut it on a tv show that is meant to be about new and innovative cars. also why can't the team just do a solid review? each one has to have some gimmick. the only time the come close to a good review was the merc CLK AMG 63 black. but then at they end they compared it to the regular AMG 63. this is all fine but could you just focus on the car you said you would feature. i'm not saying that they need to get rid of all the fun stuff but just make some room for actual reviews. one more thing. get your own ideas! that audi boat thing was a pitiful attempt to copy the uk versions amphicar challenge. paddock bashing was a good original idea, why can't you come up with more like that?
