Ke11 V6 Project

It's a fraction of the cost because it's a crap motor. After all you get what you pay for...

Having said that, i've no doubt it'll go well...

Wow, I never would have thought an ecotech would look so at home in a KE11. You can tell it's an ecotech because the throttle is in the middle of the plenum, the early motors have the throttle at the rear of the intake. BTW, don't bother wasting your money on an aftermarket ecu. The factory AC Delco is completely reprogrammable and even has provisions for boost control, auxiliaries and piles of other goodies. The aussie built twin turbo LS1 silvia drift car competing around the country with 600hp is running a factory delco ecu :P

yeah i know that but i can't access the delco and it cost close to the $1000 mark by the time u do a maffless tune.

I'm just borring the wolf v500 off my drag car. i even got a spare loom. so it costs me nutin as i can tune the wolf

Sweet, def worth it if you've already got the gear there. Pity you're not in bris, a mate's LS1 cost him $800 to fit, plumb and tune a Vortech charger on his 1 tonner VT at the brock shop.

If you are game, venture to some of the commodore sites, mainly the V6 sections.

there are people getting VERY respectable figures from ecotechs and even some from buicks.

I really like the apron you have on the front and the fact that your flares aren't in your face big.

Whats the apron off.

Edited by 67Rolla-Ken

the flares are te27 copies i think, i just searched on ebay and eventually found them, and they fitted perfect.

i can't rember what the fron apron is off, it was just some type of corolla. i can find out if people are interested, it did have to be choped and modified. the quater bumbers and indicators are of a mk1 twin cam escort
