It's possible......but i wouldn't say it is worth the time and effort.

Check out the difference between a FWD corolla, like your own, the AE82, and compare it to the AE82 engine bay.

Undertaking such a task is a pioneering effort!!!, cheaper, safer, more reliable just to purchase a factory RWD.

Although i have seen a video of a RWD Civic.......i believe the engine was moved to the boot of the car :y:

.......And end up with a car with 5 reverse gears? :y:

And forklift steering.......

Sounds......practical.....or not.....

I'm yet to see Slo-030 say that to fix that problem you would have to flip themotor 180 degrees and turn the gearbox upside down.... :P

Sounds like nothing was lost from the fwd setup :locked:

But in all seriousness, MASSIVE job.

I think it was mentioned here a while ago and one train of thought was to use the running gear/driveline out of an AL25 or AR95 Tercel/Corolla 4wd.

But still, MASSIVE JOB.

umm prbs because i dnt have a AE86 unless ur willing to give me one

But even with Takumi Tax, the amount of money you'd spend on making an AE82 RWD could buy a fairly neat, non-rust bucket AE86.

Although an AE86 isn't really a RWD AE82, they have nothing in common (AE86 is still essentially E7x)
