folks, just got back from japan, went for about 13 days, but on one of the days i got a chance to go to the Nagoya Toyota museum!

sooo many cool cars, here are a few i know you will all enjoy.

in true toyota fan boy spirit you can see i am wearing my TRD shirt, i actually got a few japs trying to talk to me on the train, they were pointing at my shirt. unfortuantely they coudlnt speak a word of english, and i couldnt speak a word of japanese....but we had a common interest!

apologies to the quality of the pics, only had my brothers really cheap point and shoot camera, and we were in a bit of a rush as we only got to the museum about 2hrs before it closed.

there wasnt too many corollas there, these were the two cool ones, and a few other random shots thrown in there too.

anyway...

You have made me a very happy man! Can't believe you could get so close to them! Have seen these cars before of course, but you have got some fantastic closeups and great angles.

God I have to get there!

Nice one Dave!!

edit: Yes I know I am being greedy, but any more shots of the KE15?

great pics the red corolla sprinter is so overrated, any old toyota crowns???

yeah got a few good pics of crowns, will throw some up tonight.

tell you what is cool, the toyota crown "comforts" they use as taxis.

caught a few taxis over there (they are so cheap, especially with 4 people). the back left door can be opened electrically by the driver...and thats a factory thing!! (acording to wiki anyway)

and all leather seats too, they really are designed for "comfort"

no noisy gas powered falcons for the japanese, its leather interiour toyota crowns...with fender mirrors of course.

hehe check out the TRD version...3sfe supercharged!

HAHAHA!!

Even factory fresh, they've got drip trays under their K engines.

Awesome.

Ha, I wrote the same thing but hit delete before I hit send as I didn't want to ruin this thread but mine was 'even in showroom condition the old K motor leaked oil'
