WMMH - Having good people in my life. I was made redundant from my plumbing-based employment last Friday, the support I received from people kinda blew me away & definitely stopped the downward spiral that happens when slightly depressed. No animosity towards my former employers, someone had to go & the bullet just happened to have my name on it.

 

Had a chat with a fellow TCCAV Member at CC&D on the Sunday, got a phone call the Monday afternoon asking if I'd like to start on Tuesday morning. Have just completed my first week working in a wheel/tyre fitting/mechanical services workshop & have to say, am enjoying the change.

 

Also on that same Tuesday I attended my University Graduation ceremony, so my parents have gotten to see their son graduate something. Albeit twelve years later than expected.

Good shit. Man I'd love to quit my job but it pays twice what I would get working anywhere on the coast.

There's a strange amount of money doing even stranger things!

 

The Gold Coast is absolutely woeful employment wise compared to Melbourne, extremely grim for job searching and most of the time wages are absurdly low. Keep knuckling down and making them dollars!

WMMH - Getting eye-balled at the traffic lights by an SS Commodore (with Chev badges) full of flat-cappers, then watching them take off as if the Devil himself was after them & nearly lose control cutting someone else off getting onto a freeway on-ramp. This doesn't make me happy, but driving along the freeway to see said Commodore pulled over by the Highway Patrol does. :yes:

Finally got the GZE working properly. So much god damn fun!

Having a guy give his xr8 a bootful out of the front of work and loosing it, sliding it into a brand new car :( what made me happy was one of the top cops in town standing in the showroom watching :) and listening to the tools excuses......

 

Just finalised my leave so myself, clevo and xrpaul will be taking the GT to BATHURST live this year!
