dbr11k Posted June 19, 2012 Author Report Posted June 19, 2012 Yea I've seen a few and I decided I don't like the look of it.. SO I found instead..... A vz clubsport dash.. reckon that's guna test my patience or what ? Lol Should look alright when done but, and I will have the gauge pods etc, just going to modify the fascia to suit some speco gear or the like Quote

kickn5k Posted June 19, 2012 Report Posted June 19, 2012 (edited) Willis may still have the dash out of his front cut for his 20V. The AE-1xx dash pads are a nice shape too. Edited June 19, 2012 by kickn5k Quote
dbr11k Posted June 19, 2012 Author Report Posted June 19, 2012 Hmmm, ill throw him a pm, but seriously... $50 for a vz dash pad.. pretty good I thought.. and when I'm finished with.the fiberglass it won't resemble any sort of factory dash :P Quote
dbr11k Posted June 19, 2012 Author Report Posted June 19, 2012 P.s my steering wheel is on the other side haha Quote
dbr11k Posted June 21, 2012 Author Report Posted June 21, 2012 Well I got all my motor mounted properly, except the plenum is hitting on my clutch master cylinder, the only solution to this I can think of is to make a 15mm spacer to go between the gbox mount and the xmember, I think my chassis or the cross member may be bent.. measured up my tail shaft and added 20mm to compensate for the t series (which still isn't in the car) and sent off the details so a fella in Victoria can make it for me Fixed my ride height up as it was waaaay to low after dropping the motor in Checked every fitting I could see to make sure they are tight Mounted my radiator properly Fitted my front end roughly, so I can start making mounts for the head lights and grill Finished most of the wiring, just need to wire the computer into the ignition barrel Bought a 99 wrx dash board Going to get some vs Commodore struts for the bonnet also Quote
dbr11k Posted June 23, 2012 Author Report Posted June 23, 2012 Quad lights dummied up ready for tabs to be welded on, u blew the drill up so got lazy and welded the radiator support in instead of drilling holes and making it removable.. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 Jealous, I live in a town house. You have.. Quote
Jono.C Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 Looks cool but i dislike the front mount :( Quote
dbr11k Posted June 24, 2012 Author Report Posted June 24, 2012 Haha why are you so sweaty? .... I was watching cop's. Yea I don't go much on the look of the front mount, I want to try and sit it in closer so I can bolt a front apron back on, but there's not to much I can do with out having to re make the intercooler pipes Quote
