Have you seen them?? Edit: If this is true he should build a shrine for all us Rolla nuts to come see them (through thick glass of corse). It would be like our Mecca  Edited July 13, 201214 yr by 67Rolla-Ken Report
July 13, 201214 yr comment_615161 You can see from one of the pictures he's got one of those Radical SR8's (with the clinically insane Hyabusa V8) in the background. The guy's rich, and from the looks of it, a wee bit mental. Report

July 13, 201214 yr comment_615198 I never did run into the guy again who had the AE86 I found in the supermarket carpark in Cairns. He bought it new and has owned it ever since, but seeing he and his wife have 4WDs it never gets used nowdays, and he was my age (60+) He was driving it that day as his 4WD was in getting serviced. So, they are still out there!! Report
July 14, 201214 yr comment_615375 A friend of mine has a TA23 I think, with delivery kilometres on it. I haven't seen it personally as it is stored away, but it occasionally gets displayed in dealerships with whom he is connected. Report

July 19, 201214 yr comment_616354 You have to question someones logic when they lock away what is/was, realisitically, not ever going to be a big dollar car. I mean, its cool, but seriously? he couldnt think of something more investment worthy to lock away? Report
July 19, 201214 yr Author comment_616355 Why does it need to be an investment? It's a time capsule, you could test the air quality of Japan in the early 80's by the air in the spare tyre. While it may not have any real world value in terms of a high return investment, as a piece of automotive history its priceless. Edited July 19, 201214 yr by B.L.Z.BUB Report
