What a sad day for Australia. We have lost a true champion. I'd just like to share my personal experiences with the great man.

He was signing autographs at the v8 supercars at willowbank a couple of years back. He must have been signing for over 2 hours by the time we got to him and he still had a smile on his face and ready to have a chat. An absolute legend who was taken too soon. :P

tis a very bad week for australian icons. i just heard on the radio. absolutelly shocking. i can only hope the bad news doesn't come in threes.

Farewell...shame he never got his 10 Bathurst victorys. Will be a rather sombre Bathurst this year

The guy who wrote the book Stormboy (later became a movie) in the 80's, he also passed away this week,

I'm just glad that he went doing something that he loved but still it was an untimely death, But i guess when yours numbers up theres not much you can do about it.

no words can express it. all I can do is cry :P
