The KE30 2 doors were available at the beginning of the 3rd generation, 1974. I also assume that they first came out as 2 doors only, then 4 doors were introduced in 1975. They both would have been available at the same time but only for a short while, 1975. We usually only got the 2 doors in previous models, so they must have changed their mind some where down the line and released the 4 door sedan.

Sadly I haven't seen many KE35's or seen their vin numbers to be able to tell when abouts they started. I assume it may have been around the same time as the 4 door sedans.

Car: ke55 sedan

 

Motor & Driveline: did have a 4k but now I'm using a 3k with a little work and i lile the higher reving 3k. has a stock 5speed in it

 

Suspension & Brakes:all stock

 

Wheels & Tyres: stock for now

 

Interior: was originaly brown butt am doing it all black

 

Body: bear steel waiting for paint

Motor & Driveline: 3k 4spd

 

Suspension & Brakes: choppies in front, inverted pack with reinforcement by single bj40 leaf

 

Wheels & Tyres:17 x 7, 205/40/17 :yes:

 

Interior:stock vinyl

 

Body:small minor rust.

 

Other: blown muffler due to too many keybangers.

TE278U - bloody nice looking wagon u got!! wheels really set it off. (bit jealous that ur car does keybangers though) pissed that my Ke55 sedan wont do them, jus want a reason to get a new exhaust haha

Car: 81 KE55 Coupe

 

Motor & Driveline: SR20DE+T Hicomp, S14 gearbox, RB25 T3, custom exhaust manifold and dump, 3" exhaust, supra front mount, thermo fan, VL Turbo pump, standard diff

 

Suspension & Brakes:

Front: JDM Sprinter struts, discs, calipers, MR2 short stroke shocks, sigma LCA, RA40 tierod,

Rear: reset leafs, suzuki sierra short strokes

 

Wheels & Tyres: front: 15x? ssr reverse mesh. Rear: 15x? watannabe's

 

Interior: fixed back seats up front, plush carpet, few gauges,

 

Body: no front bumper, few dings and some rust

 

Other: haltech engine management. CIG locker (twisted + snapped axles come standard :S )

 

I'm sure ive left a bit off.. i might update it if i remember later.
