when i first got it. 72xxxkms (with paperwork) note, no whitewalls - if you still had whitewalls in 1974 you weren't cool.
  4. also identical to the ae92 onwards GZE
  5. you could legally go a ca18det.
  6. depends how you drive. i've an open centre with my ke20 with 130rwkw: perhaps a little bit more than you'll get with a stock NA bigport. Unless you want to push it hard around corners or dump it off the line an open centre will be fine. If you want to be dangerous and pretend your fangio around blind corners then perhaps get a dedicated track car instead and you won't kill anyone crossing the street (this isn't directed at anyone except there are a few local dickheads taking a corner near me at warp speed). What Matt's got is a super neat cruiser with a bit more balls than standard. Put the open centre on and look after it.
  7. he said legally without engineering you can go 15% bigger.
  8. are you running low comp GZE pistons?
  9. i'm coming but leaving the ke20 at home. i'll come in my mates ke10
  10. Roo: is that setup like a Saab? (4agze behind your t50)
  11. damn, you'll just have to settle for coming in your ke20...
  12. can't you get someone else to drive it for you?
  13. Don't get me wrong, i think the 20v is really a work of art - power output is amazing from factory for a 1.6l. As for the 16v, I wasn't saying they are better, i was just saying you see more of the higher powered 4As being turbo 16vs. I think the 16v turbo is probably a lot cheaper to do and set up, especially for RWD applications.
  14. the engineer i used even passed them (with a booster) for my 4AGE conversion, and was quite impressed with how well the stopped the car. Now the turbo is on, they don't stop the car that well from 160+kmh.
  15. i don't ride, the only time i've been on a bike was being a passenger on my mates ZXR750, the morning after my bucks party still pissed as a fart. my bro-in-law keeps buying Yamaha R1s so i think they must be pretty kewl.
  16. if you buy a front cut with a loom + ECU, then all you would need to do is put in bigger fuel lines, surge tank, a couple of fuel pumps and possibly a battery relocation to get it running in the car. you'd obviously need a custom exhaust, you might be able to use the stock dump pipe if it doesn't foul on anything, custom tailshaft to suit whatever diff you use, bigger brakes, intercooler pipe work. Have you considered putting in a 7K-E? loads of torque for a small car, simpler conversion and probably retains more value for the car.
  17. ke55 borg warner diff, mounts rewelded on in the right place to suit ke20 leaves/shocks. ke55 discs/girlock calipers.
  18. how about "RORRACRUB" for those JDM fanboys?
  19. post 88 saabs are 4x114.3. i've got those ones on my ke20 (which has ke55 gear all round).
  20. i put 130kw through the rear wheels with leaves, no panhard, no rear swaybar etc.
  21. isn't it a mk1 cortina?
  22. is that the same 1.8 from the next shape GSR Lancer, minus the tubbie and 4wd?
  23. i don't think there is an lsd option for the BW68.
