  3. You will find that the JDMST Meets are organised accordingly by the same regional person, which I'm to believe is a photographer, It is not openly discussed and is arranged a couple of hours before they are to meet in some instances and keep it relatively low key, it is generally created on other forums before it is gone openly http://www.jdmstyletuning.com/
  4. Just more on this write and as mentioned how to fit the engine in similar to the RX3, BTR Performance make crossmembers you mount the engine on, using a 12A Turbo timing cover, http://www.btrperformance.com.au/gallery_3.html?frm_data1=9&frm_data1_type=large Yes i know it says gemini on the site, but measure up a corolla chassis rails and send it to them, and engineered also To mount the gearbox i have seen HG holden bracket under some conversions
  5. Spring Gully Stays is the name of the place in Canungra, awesome
  6. If that is your goal, sounds like you have been guided in the right direction and have the right idea, If you go that big how much of it will get to the ground? a few of the stroked EVO's run the 20G but they are track cars, and make strong power all through the rev range, and run some quick times Put some pics in the ride thread
  7. Dang hardcore dudes, even out up Mt Nebo people peddling away
  8. and i leave my keys in the ignition out the front of the pub, haha my car is all legal and has all ADR codes relevant, but they don't have the time to whip out the book, besides driving an NT registered car in QLD, which is mod plated in QLD, the rules are different, and i think they just give up, haha
  9. Cmon Reed not all of us, that would be annoying having a nice car only to be defected
  10. The above is correct also yes, The CP9A and CT9A chassis had the cam cover facing the driver side whereas the earlier models was passenger side W58 box will hold the power, but don't go past a 20G turbo, and opting for the big boy GT30/35, as the exhaust flow are great on these engines Also the stock ECU is great and has alot of tunning capabilites and atm the a great price and worthy investment www.evoscan.com
  11. Instesting design that manifold, but to clear everything also, clever really Keep up the good work mate
  12. oh i thought that was a boat anchor, haha
  13. On that note, got pulled to the side at Yatla BP by police tonight, Went over my car, checked the mod plate, asked a couple of questions, and she passed, all of 2 minutes first time in 5 years the car has been on the road been pulled over, cheering really One police officer yelled out that it had NT plates, haha Saw king Scotty politely roll out in his Cressida, stock lookin thing, haha
  14. Yes i seen this on the tilt tray late last night, must be preppin for the weekend
  15. Hey Mitchell, Your query can be a very grey area as some cars have great steering boxes and some need to be regeared, as mentioned with coil overs and going into corners can soak up alot of the load and not make the steering wheel hard to fight against, and with the rebound is quite easy to steer, nolathane bushes are a great investment also I will say that there is slight movement in mine left or right before you can turn the wheel, and thats just the way it will be, unless you change, which seems to be the query here, hence why i asked the reason for the application of the car In saying that tho, i have full welded in cage, and the car is very stiff and very responsive, but have not put it to work on a track, so my judgement is based on street duties, i drive my mates Mk1 Cortina, stock as the day she rolled out of Ford in 1964 and its just as heavy as a kingswood with 165's all round, and perhaps i have gotten use to it after a while, and going to the gym might help also, haha
  16. Are those boxes the same as a VL-T box by chance? that would hold enough, that is another reason i have not chased more power out of mine, but with the times your running, seems really consistant also
  17. I still say that was a forward pass by the frogs, way in front, but yeah looking sharp, just give them some space to move, then watch Mills pay the Bills, haha Brad Thorne tho, what a machine
  18. Well seems this is fast approaching and after the naming of the Wallabies Squad, and re-signing of their New Zealand coach, seems critics are jumping all over this one, Horwill to captain and Giteau sits at home Couple more tri nation matches, seems NZ could take the silverware The Saffas seem to be at a lost, but never doubt the Irish or the Frogs, Azzuri are an unusual team, and Japan has the tactics but no aggression (or size for that matter) but ill be keeping an eye on Samoa, gotta have huge boost since their win over the Wallabies, now the USA, powerhouse and are still in development, watch this space from them NZ for the win
  19. Matt any particular reason you are wanting to change the steering by chance? I know you have said space, but the 55 steering box when fixed (if loose) still works well and with 7" wide rims and coilovers and with a 20G Turbo that will work fine, you can always make an engine plate and lug it to the chassis rails and move it forward Otherwise flick Jordan a pm in the engine conversion thread about some info
  20. Sweet can I borrow for powercruise? also get that retractable swags setup, haha how are my headlights coming along?
  21. and in a Corolla for that matter, Good learning and heaps of fun
  22. ^^^^^ Interesting, so speed cameras can now be more questionable state with camera detected offences, Just write a letter saying that the vehicle was not setup in accordance to Operational Procedures, cause the steering wheel was damaged and parking was not satisfactory, ooh crediability, haha
  23. WGMG - Turned up to work 2 hours early than I was rostered for, Went back home and did my tax, sleep would have been nice
  24. I tend to go but keep it out the back, waiting for the word to go then onto the highway, haha There are a few other places to go
