  1. They're still A12 pushies, not toyota ones. :y: Datsun freaks! :y:
  2. Just out of interest what are they charging you for the pushies? I don't need any as I have some Tomei Chrome Moly pushrods to go in when I finally get around to rebuilding my other 5k. :y:
  3. EXACTLY!!! I believe SA doesn't allow P platers (I'm guessing you are) drive V8's...... or turbo cars. So you're also pushing shit uphill wanting a fluttery FPV sound anyway........ unless your mum drives you round it it! :) :) A South Aussie please correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. Noble M12 :) ..... http://www.fast-autos.com/supercars/Noble_m12.php
  5. KM36 liteace :)
  6. Toy-yoda's link..... Why the hell would you want to do that!!!!! :).... any off topic. I'm now on turbo kit #3. #1 was the CT12 (which was pretty crap cause the turbo was soooooo small) and #2 was the TD04-L (from a later model wrx) which was great. :) I sold my whole TD04-L and KTC setup for $1150 fitted.
  7. :) If you only want a turbo for the full-hektik flutterz sound then don't waste your money on an actual turbo........ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fake-Blow-O...sQ5fAccessories :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qga5eONXU_4
  8. Boat is pretty cool. Here's your next project then, I have one of these..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6besEwoRYQ Not easy to drive/fly though. I should video my RC chopper, I've got pretty good at chasing the dog around the house with that! :)
  9. Less than a 4age conversion! I've never really tallied it..... and don't want to. :) A lot of it was more so just for learning about EFI etc. There's also a few 'wanky' little bits that weren't completely neccessary (like speedflow lines, gilmer etc) so it could of been done cheaper. My original 4ktc setup cost me about $400 for 7-8psi. Click "Tar" in my sig and start the 40+ page trawl. There's a full specs list there somewhere. :)
  10. :) Got your PM. That does look like quite a substantial gap doesn't it! Really is a bit of a tricky one. Look like you would have to machine the rocker posts, but you really don't know how much you should take off them until you've had some oil pressure in the lifters. Can't say I've ever really seen anybody build a similar combo, so you just need to be a bit of a 'pioneer' really. Atleast when you do get it sorted 100% we will all know, and then this info can be added to the FAQ for anybody who might want to go down the same track.
  11. Ahem..... That sound like dosage to me!!! :)
  12. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=35446 :) Still waiting to see some vids too! :)
  13. K-T bellhousing for $50 including freight from Melbourne ($30) so yeah a $20 bell! :(
  14. Use the 4k bolts as they're better than the 5k ones. :(
  15. ROLF!!!!! :(
  16. Argh. Was thinking Hyper fangs :(
  17. Have a look at the rat-dat link. :( http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=34422
  18. Hyper, not viper :2thumbs:
  19. Maybe start here :2thumbs:
  20. Also don't forget to re-face your lifters otherwise you could tear a lobe off the your new cam.
  21. Much
  22. Vaguest post ever!?
  23. I recently helped out member 'Banshee' with a ke1x water pump. Might pay to PM him and ask what was the end result, but IIRC you can swap a '30/'55/'70 etc type pump onto it as long as you use the matching pulley - As the crank pulley is always in the same spot on all K's. So yeah use a long nose pump with a shallow pulley, or shorter nose pump with the deeper pulley. PCD's on the pumps also change so this is another reason to use the appropiate pulley. FYI though - We were trying to get his car going for a cruise that weekend, which we did. BUT the '55 fan (IIRC) he was using was very close to the radiator. Half way through the cruise he pulley out of a street, engine moved just slightly pushing the fan into the rad which ate its way into it and dropped all its fluid. So double checking this gap would be well worth while.
