  1. I hope not. "Free air" subs are basically just air pumps. If it had a conventional boot which was the right litreage and sealed it all up it might not be too bad. But I doubt you'll have room to do this with an engine in the way!! :y:
  2. Were the bolt ons just put over the top of a stock un-cut, un-rolled guard?? My guards have been trimmed a fair bit so there's plenty of clearance when lowered. Some pics here... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...10940&st=45 Now have +10 offset 7" wheels with 27mm bolt on spacers in the rear!!...
  3. '77 rx4's had the same "merc" front end and a very average rear. 12a or 13b (as RX4 came with both) conversions are very easy with these legality wise. Hit me up if you ever need some info. :jamie: Oh and I know where you can get a set of dual dellortos and a manifold for her...... or a HKS turbo kit for that matter!!
  4. .....whats that 7m's!? :jamie:
  5. I did my first 4k turbo kit for around $400, although this did include a few donations of parts from mates for the cause (like the turbo itself) so its not hard to do cheaply. Click "tar" in my sig to see some pics of the dodgey old CT12 turbo setup. :jamie:
  6. Because then your just another takumi wannabe sheep!! :jamie:
  7. You can use the rear shocks from an AW11 MR2...... and Koni makes adjustables for those! :jamie: As the body of the shock is also shorter you need to pack out the strut tube a bit with some washers.
  8. Yeah shades said mitsi's evo engines are ok. But how much development would have gone into those. Speaking of '80 mitsi engines - That what these new Great Wall utes have in them!!! 1984 Magna motors!! :jamie:
  9. It hasn't had square lights put in it has it?
  10. ...and who works at Pedders!!!
  11. 165's might tuck under!
  12. http://shop.ebay.com.au/i.html?_nkw=4age+t...s&_osacat=0 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/4age-rwd-extractors...=item3357cd9564 Ebay is always a good place to start for pricing examples.
  13. +1 Cushioning in the clutch plate is going to make WAY more difference than how many pucks it has.
  14. You can get spacer plates which will change the stud pattern, but they'll also change the offset by at least 20mm...... and they're also illegal in pretty much all states.
  15. How about you start with this link!!
  16. Wonder if that means you can use wagon shocks as a short stroke version in sedans!?
  17. Oh as for this problem, sounds like a BOOSTER problem. Make sure your check (one-way) valve is working properly and check the hose clamps on the booster vacuum line - mainly the one on the booster itself. It's most likely effecting the engine at idle because there is a small vacuum leak somewhere.
  18. You need to keep bleeding them until this air noise stops. Might be work making yourself a "brake bong". Get an old 600ml drink bottle and 30cm or so of vacuum line (that will fit over the bleed nipple. Pore 50ml or so of brake fluid into the bottle (old fluid is fine) so that the vacuum line is under the level of fluid. Now bleed the brakes again with the bong attached to the bleed nipple. If air is coming out you'll see bubbles coming up through the fluid. Keep bleeding until the bubbles stop. Using a brake bong like this you can actually bleed brakes by yourself!! Fill the bottle with some new fluid and attach to the the LOSSENED bleed nipple. Then start pumping the pedal - when you pump it it wall push air/fluid out as per normal, then when you release the pedal fluid will be sucked back into the caliper from the bottle..... as long as the end of the vacuum line is under the fluid.
  19. hahaha that the funniest thing I ever heard!!! If you put a boost controller on it you won't be able to help yourself and you'll wind it up.
  20. You serious! :hmm: There's a few kiwi's who've put them in the back of 323 hatches etc. They just don't look right. They're only worth around $500..... for the lenses only!!! >| ...... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mazda-R100-Tail-Len...=item5d2415aad0
  21. No oil up there, so yeah a bit of grease wouldn't hurt.
  22. No idea where the split pin is supposed to go. I honestly don't think its needed anyway, the tension on the clutch cable will hold the clip on so just assemble it as per pic 2 (once cable is through the bellhousing) and hook it on the fork.
  23. ....and while on the subject of awesome Mk2's...... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ford-escort-mk2-13b...=item4a9c5f61ce Check out the rear wheels!!! 5"s of dish! :)
  24. haha nice. Just don't get caught drink-driving on it :) ........ http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=35495
